Anyone know of anywhere that will deliver a cheese 'selection box' type thing?

I'm on the hunt for something for my dad's 70th birthday next month. I thought maybe a nice cheese board, with some crackers, or something along those lines, would be nice. He doesn't really want 'things' and buys for himself when he does anyway.

Do any of you know of anywhere to buy something along those lines? Otherwise I may put together my own, but then that means I need to store it & my fridge is full with the months shop atm!

Have a look on amazon at their cheese hampers.

EversoDetermined · 30/07/2023 11:05

There are dozens of them. I started looking into this in lockdown and then my FB feed filled up with them. I used Fine Cheese Company for an order IIRC.

I bought people subscriptions from the cheese geek before which have gone done very well. Neal's Yard Dairy also do gift sets and their cheeses are generally fantastic.

I got an advent calendar off the chuckling cheese company, they might do selections too.

I’ve used cheese geek, it was well received by the recipient.

Ah, hamper is a better word than selection box! I'll have a look at all the suggestions, much appreciated, thank you.

Northumberland cheese company. Get a hamper with the nettle cheese in it. I order them regularly and they are very nice.

I used to have a cheese subscription with the courtyard dairy. They do one off gift boxes as well. The cheese was fantastic. Only stopped as we needed to make some cutbacks. Highly recommend them.

Neal's Yard Dairy. They do subscriptions too and cheese "cakes". Excellent cheese, all British and Irish
