Am just sitting here obviously having a really boring Saturday night 😂to know which words people use
Do you watch Television or watch TV when chatting?
Do you wash your teeth or clean your teeth ?

Never heard anyone say wash their teeth. I brush my teeth.

We generally say TV.

Brush teeth. Washing teeth sounds bizarre. Clean teeth fair enough, no idea why washing sounds wrong.

Watch telly. Change the channel with the gadget.

Im welsh so mine translates to

I clean my teeth and watch TV. Id probably be washing my teeth if I put the shower hose in my mouth and used soap.

TV or Telly and clean/ brush teeth for me . Husband refers to TV as Television and he washes his teeth 🙄Cannot explain how both of these examples have really irritated me . Probably need to get a life before anyone says that !
