Crumbs
Empty loo rolls
Things on the bottom of the stairs

Anything else? Hmm

In an entirely lighthearted way- do we really want to have lighthearted conversations about women having to clean loos after the men in her family have done a poo? To prove this post is lighthearted ->🥰

Quite.

And in an equally lighthearted way, many a true word is spoken in jest and humour is a well known device for expressing annoyance.

Sux2buthen · 28/07/2023 13:05

And? People that reply can use examples they fancy, it's just a lighthearted post🙄🥱

My husband is brilliant. Does most of the housework, almost all of the cooking, the DIY, looks after us all brilliantly.

He does, however, suffer from a lifelong condition called Skidmark Blindness, which is sadly genetic and has passed on to my son.

Thoughts and prayers.

Dare I ask where are these skidmarks found? On the sofa? Teatowels? Dog?

fireflyloo · 28/07/2023 13:56

Haha this is me. My dh is much more domesticated than me.

LaMaG · 28/07/2023 14:07

Things in the fridge. Can 'look' in 3 seconds and that's enough time spent but waste 2 mins arguing with me that we are out of cheese despite me confirming i just bought some: well its not here...maybe you left it behind at checkout...did you put it somewhere else by mistake.. im telling you its not here!.. do you think I'm stupid...fine you look yourself so...well I didn't see it there...how was I supposed to know it was behind the yoghurts...I couldn't see it so it's not my fault...maybe you should have put it in front of the yoghurt.

Helendegenerate · 28/07/2023 14:14

There's a funny short video clip The Mystery of the Basket which I can't seem to link to here. Anyone care to do that for me please?

FatherJackHackettsUnderpantsHamper · 28/07/2023 14:15

Hair. If a woman is trying to distinguish which other woman a man is referring to - somebody they met at a party or one of the assistants in the local shop etc. - and asks what style/length/colour her hair was, the response may well be "I presume she had hair..."

Whatever you do, never let either of them go on the helter skelter at the fairground.

Lovetotravel123 · 28/07/2023 14:17

Can’t see the thing staring him in the face in the fridge but has a special radar for boobs, bums and cars 😂

Shooop · 28/07/2023 14:17

In that case, I think I must be a man and my H is a woman. He picks me up on every crumb and empty loo roll. And he likes cushions. I don’t care.

Gettingbysomehow · 28/07/2023 11:38

Everything that doesn't benefit them or that they are not interested in.

That’s it in a nutshell.

Helendegenerate · 28/07/2023 14:20

Thank you Father Jack. I find it rather funny.

LightlySearedontheRealityGrill · 28/07/2023 16:47

Their piss on the seat or floor, as evidenced by the stench of public men's rooms.

Things women can't see:

Too many cushions
Too many sceneted candles
Too many shoes.
Too many hair bobbles
Etc

No such thing as too many hair bobbles 😃

thecatsthecats · 28/07/2023 16:53

I can't see my mess. He can't see his mess.

We can both see each other's mess.

It's like we've been cursed by a gypsy.

Gateappreciation · 28/07/2023 17:02

Cheese, butter or whatever food item in the fridge

Toiket rolls at bottom of stairs that need taking upstairs.

ALongHardWinter · 28/07/2023 17:26

Mummysalwaysright · 28/07/2023 10:35

...how much space they are taking up, relative to the amount available.

Just to add - this seems to be the case with a lot of men, but luckily not my DP.

This! The majority of men seem to be 'space invaders' these days.

TwilightSkies · 28/07/2023 17:34

They see these things when they live alone.

Buildingthefuture · 28/07/2023 18:00

Anything in the fridge or a kitchen cupboard! The sheer AMOUNT of “we haven’t got any x” “yes we have” conversations that take place in my house is unreal. DH is an educated, articulate, competent man. Works hard, pulls his weight in the house and with the mental load but becomes literally BLIND when he steps into the kitchen - even though he cooks a lot! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

TwilightSkies · 28/07/2023 17:34

They see these things when they live alone.

I’m not sure they do really. They have very low standards a lot of the time.

Gargantuan2023 · 29/07/2023 02:23

The bigger picture.

TommyNever · 29/07/2023 03:09

I'm a man (bachelor) and my house is normally clean and tidy. And pretty much immaculate if I'm expecting visitors.

That is if you don't open any of my cupboards or drawers, wherein you will usually find chaos. But guests don't normally take it upon themselves to poke around in my drawers.

JamSandle · 29/07/2023 04:49

Their wallets

MinnieMountain · 29/07/2023 06:37

The dishwasher. My put your bowl in there when you could leave it in the sink all day to soak?
