This was substituted in my shopping for something I would normally put in sandwiches so I used this straight from the pack instead. Ive just seen the ‘cook me please’ on the front 🫣
ive already made my lunch for today and don’t want to throw it! Will it be ok?

I have this type of veggie meat products uncooked and so far all ok.

You need to spend some time with Eastern Europeans. Raw lard and raw onion on rye bread as a hearty snack 😀

Seriously the main concern I would have about this stuff is an overload of preservatives.

All these people saying you shouldn’t eat “smelly” food in work reminds me of the recent black mirror episode demon 79 where Nida was told to bring a “nice ham or cheese sandwich” for lunch instead of her Biryani. She is banished to the basement to eat her “smelly” food and ends up summoning a demon and bringing about the end of the world - so maybe best to let people eat what they want.

I tend to cook a joint of meat on a Sunday then we have in on sandwiches Mon-Thursday, Friday is greggs dayGrin

gogomoto · 27/07/2023 11:50

Your office would hate me today though, due to not having any meat (no roast at weekend) I'm eating leftover curry and chappatis Grin. I have my own office

gogomoto · 27/07/2023 11:51

Also my cheese is definitely smelly, I do like a Stilton and apple saladBlush

@LuckySantangelo35 I know. I'm vegetarian. I was offering op a solution to the quality of supermarket cooked meats as per their second post.

Just don't heat up kedgeree in an office microwave, then pop a boiled egg on top. That guileless act followed me around for years!

😆😆😆

I just cook some chicken and then have it with different flavourings every day. Maybe with hoisin or cranberry or Mayo. Wrap sandwich.

Judydoes2 · 27/07/2023 12:49

It's already cooked. Most 'faux meat' is.

ilovemydogmore · 27/07/2023 12:55

Why do people pretend being vegan is healthier

Exactly, I don't see the issue. So what if you can smell someone else's lunch?

I agree too. There's some right precious nellie's on here 🙄

Nothing wrong or smelly about tuna or salmon sandwich

Whats wrong with cheese

Hummous and carrot

Slices of roast beef

shredded chicken that you have cooked yourself

Tuna & salmon are not for the office!
