What’s your morning routine?

Inspired by nightly routine thread

whats your routine in the morning as mine is awful.

8am alarm goes off
830 finish doom scrolling
9am get up late for work, gran Huel

i need to burn my phone 😠

Retired now so get up around 8am. Open all curtains and a few windows so the dogs can have a nosey looking outside.
They have a dog door to let themselves in and out.
Good cup of coffee, check news, do a crossword and WhatsApp friends and family.
I'm happy and content.

If daughter is going to school:
Alarm at 6.40, get up feed cats let dogs out. Make sure daughter is awake at 7am, shower and get dressed. Drop daughter at tube station at 7.30 and take dogs to park, back home for breakfast at 8.30, bit of kitchen tidy then go to desk about 9.30 (self employed wfh).
Not school day: if I wake before 7 stay in bed, if after 7 go down feed cats let dogs out then back to bed! Get up whenever. Now it's summer really bad with the morning routine.

7:15ish wake up naturally, jump in the shower (not a hair wash)
7:25 go in to my son, change his nappy
7:30 both brush teeth, wash his face etc
7:45 breakfast for him, coffee for me
8:15 get dressed, both of us

I am very lucky because DH does the first thing check of the horses and lets the dogs out so I don’t have to rush like a mad thing. We tend to head down to the stables at about 8:30ish.

But I have a job where I have to be at my desk early.
My work days are long.
I'm leaving my job next year.
