Renting a caravan cost

We've. Left it too late to get a 'proper' holiday sorted this year but we were thinking of renting a caravan, not sure if this is even possible. How much would it be to rent a caravan for a week in august? Anywhere in the country

Haven have last minute deals from about £500 for a week in August, there's a link from the home page to their Last minute deals section which makes it a lot easier than searching individual parks.

@Teapleasebobb

It has been August.
But it's a case of being flexible where, and when.
And booking literally the night before so risking not being able to go.

We're lucky in the for both our jobs we can do that though.

We left it last min and just booked a haven site for Mon - Fri and it was £999 but it is the nicest type of caravan with a sea view and includes free access to pool but the activities are extra and it’s a site in the north

I stayed (for free) in a static caravan in Cornwall last month which is now listed on Air BnB for £134 a night! Which is crazy expensive to me but its booked up until the end of September so families must be willing to pay the cost. Its a prime location for beach and things to do and the site itself has a pool and clubhouse with kids activities so maybe that is the appeal.

We've booked a static in Bude for the first time. It's £1400 for a 2 bed, 2 bathroom caravan, sleeps 5.

My niece has been to this site before and recommended it.

@Teapleasebobb

This is the sort of one we go for:
[[//hoseasons.co.uk/holiday-parks/england/kent?regionId=21669&regionName=Kent&accommodationType=holiday-parks&destinationURL=%2Fholiday-parks%2Fengland%2Fkent&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2eilBhCCARIsAG0Pf8vvjCJWZDOUOtAu3wfuoSLj-PiC6Nc5JxUV0vxzmsKkFyk0EWzEKnQaArkBEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

It does depend on the year and how many are left as to what price they go for, but the cheapest currently for next week is £189 for a 4 berth (2 bedrooms). But there's an 8 berth (3 bedrooms) for £209 as well.

We've had better deals than that some years- I think our best was a 8 berth caravan for less than £100 in the 2nd week of August. They're not normally as cheap as that though! We tend to book no more than a couple of days before as well, which a lot of people won't want to/can't.
