My mum asked me what was going on with DW. When I told her she said "I'm not surprised, there's something not right about him. He's another Jimmy Saville, that one."Shock

Know exactly what she means. He has always given me the creeps tbh.
Something cold, calculating and dare I say evil about him

CarlosAlcaraz · 09/08/2023 18:45

He surely should be at least suspended , if not dismissed from GB now .

Iwantcakeeveryday · 09/08/2023 20:34

Can't believe theres still more!

Twyford · 09/08/2023 21:10

If you're too toxic even for the Mail, the writing surely has to be on the wall.

CarlosAlcaraz · 09/08/2023 21:58

Why isn't this being picked up by other news sources? Just about everyone wrote about PS and HE.

newnamethanks · 09/08/2023 22:08

Because he's employed by many of them and is 'suspended' pending enquiries. Own doorstep and all that. PS had one employer and was hounded out, DW expressed very strong opinions about his behaviour. HE is employed by BBC, loathed by the vile organs that employ DW, and therefore also fair game.

newnamethanks · 09/08/2023 22:27

Oh, just read the latest Byline Times. Didn't realise DW had pulled the moral outrage card out for HE as well, DW is a poisonous creature and I avoid his work. I know who he is because I noticed him last year, I think, being vile about someone on tv. He was so unpleasant, I googled him to be sure I'd avoid any of his opinions in future. Yet here he is, hoist by his own petard or on the way there. Good.

Well done The Guardian for reporting on this 👏. The story is not being treated prominently in the tabloids. When you think of the furore over Huw Edwards who they totally eviscerated, it’s not exactly fair that their response to this is fairly muted. Must be because it is too close to home or concerns one of their own. It’s thoroughly hypocritical.

I agree, extremely and quite obvious hypocrisy.

How is this flying so far under the radar???

because this kind of thing is typically reported by certain news outlets owned by certain men and none of those are going to report on one of their own.

Well I'm shocked by the GB News report above. Just look at the quality of many of their employees and their sinister, shared beliefs. Who's as surprised as me? What? Nobody at all?

Actually I think it's probably more that it's not that newsworthy. DW isn't widely known amongst the average Brit unless you're a long time reader of the Sun celebrity columns or watch GB News.

I don't think he's famous enough to warrant it and, even if he was, the proof might not be enough to persuade the lawyers to sign it off.
