Hyde was very witty, taking Wootton's faux style and playing it back at him. Clever and of course deserved.

Why isn't this being more widely reported? Are all other media outlets too scared of the repercussions? Or are they protecting someone else? Is it because there may be connections to the RF ?

In a way I hope Wootton HASN’T done what he’s accused of, because it’s more fitting, more karma, more natural justice if he’s subjected to a wholly unwarranted attack, like he does to others.

Because presumably they have worked out that since he wasn't employed by them at the time, they have no responsibility. Why should they pay fees for any misconduct that is nothing to do with them? If it had happened when he was employed or contracted then they wouldn't be responsible either.

Yes that's true. Maybe he should just wait until the investigation is over and his name is cleared and then he can sue , I'm sure the lawyers would help him with a no win no fee deal.

Crowdfunding your legal fees is a bit odd in his position. He should have enough to sue Byline without. A clear case would not be expensive.

If on the other hand you were worried you would need to defend yourself against a claim and that would be expensive, you might try and cadge money from people.

Danny boy won't be risking his own money on this when he has stalwart defenders like some on here to crowdfund him.
