Bloody dinosaurs

What am I missing? I’ve got a baby boy and he needs clothes. Who decided baby clothes, in fact any clothes, should be covered in bloody dinosaurs?

It’s not just clothes. I’ve never liked dinosaurs but I must be in the minority as they’re everywhere in toys, furniture, museums, films. They’ve been dead ages, they’re ugly and stupid, it’s boring.

I accept the fault must be mine as the whole thing is so popular but I can’t understand it. Was it always like this?

DS2 (3.5) loves dinosaurs and tells everyone how he is going to be a palaeontologist when he grows up. He is very easy to get dressed in the mornings! E.g. trex t-shirt or glitter dinosaur t-shirt today DS?

DS1 used to be scared of dinosaurs when he was little which was a pain as he was scared of his dinosaur rain jacket (didn't know he'd be scared of dinosaurs when I bought it).

My Gds, nearly 7, is equally keen on anything with a shark on it. Preferably a Great White.

I bloody love dinosaurs and if Jurassic Park ever becomes reality I shall have one as a pet. NB. Logistics of that in a first floor flat yet to be determined.

I’m wearing my JP t-shirt and may also be wearing Molke’s dinosaur bra and pants! I’m 56.

I felt the same about transport. So many bus/ tractor/ car/ train clothes. Mind you loads of kids love transport, mine didn't. We all love dinosaurs though. I work in school and I think dinosaur interest is pretty universal (you must be the exception that proves the rule op.)

YANBU in principle, but YABU because dinosaurs are really cool. Especially when you're little.

I bought a pair of adult dinosaurs pyjamas and had the top fitted a bit more and wear it in the day. Had loads of compliments on all my dinosaur clothes. 🦖🦕🦖🦕

@StinkyWizzleteets , back in the day when they were a ‘new’ thing, an old man in IIRC Mary Anning’s area was heard to say that the fossils had been put there to ‘maze men’s minds’ - by Satan.
I gather that it was a fairly popular idea at the time.

My daughter absolutely loves dinosaurs- there’s not enough for girls.
We read endless Harry and the dinosaurs, we play with dinosaurs, she has a dinosaur bedroom.

I’m not particularly interested in dinosaurs myself although I don’t dislike them. I prefer dinosaurs to sharks and tractors/cars tbh which seem to make up the rest of the boys’ clothing range
