All of the above

Housekeeperbatcocoa · 12/07/2023 13:28

It made absolutely no difference to me but I drink plenty in general anyway!

balzamico · 12/07/2023 13:28

I definitely lose weight more easily & yet I still can't develop good habits

redressgirl · 13/07/2023 03:33

I only drink water and one coffee a day its made no difference to me in general

sausage767 · 13/07/2023 03:35

No, and you won't unless you are actually dehydrated.

essieim · 13/07/2023 03:47

No

montecarlo7 · 13/07/2023 04:07

No, I don't notice any difference at all.

NoTeaNoShade · 13/07/2023 04:47

None unfortunately, though I notice when I don't and feel terrible, so perhaps I'm on an even keel.

oliveroses · 13/07/2023 04:53

Yes, I feel I have more energy and am sharper and more clear-headed. Also less bloating.

Partypiddler · 13/07/2023 04:53

I drink a huge amount of water. It's made no difference other than I feel very unwell if I don't. I think I drink about 4 litres a day.

Partypiddler · 13/07/2023 04:55

I do very clear, youthful skin though

Threenow · 13/07/2023 05:00

No, and I drink a lot of water.

Tourmalines · 13/07/2023 05:02

No , makes no difference.

OneMoreCookieMonster · 13/07/2023 05:05

I've just started to drink water properly in the last 8 wks or so (as in probably 2.5L per day) skim is definitely clearer and more plump, lips look amazing, and have lost weight but that could be because I am also postpartum.

NorthWestThree · 13/07/2023 05:25

Nope, no difference. Except I need a wee all the time.

Drinking more water was one of the "small steps" of trying to gradually overhaul my life. It's made zero difference. I think I need big steps now 😭

BigCheeseSandwich · 13/07/2023 05:26

No difference other than needing to pee every ten minutes.

HairMb · 13/07/2023 06:39

Drinking a big glass of water when I first get up has made me feel a bit less groggy in the morning.

I notice a difference when I drink a few more glasses, mainly my dry lips look better. Also snack on less shit.

No difference other than needing to pee every ten minutes.

Same

RebelR · 13/07/2023 06:42

It definitely improves my skin, makes it bit more plumped up.

I think a lot of my old tiredness was due to mild dehydration too.

unlikelychump · 13/07/2023 06:55

I drink loads of water when I am home on weekends etc. Less so during the week. As the week goes on I feel really tired on wed / Thursday. I drink a pile of water on a Thursday afternoon and I brighten up a lot of a Friday.

You d think Id learn

MarlinsSpike · 13/07/2023 06:58

No difference apart from feeling a bit bloated and needing to pee more.

ThePoshUns · 13/07/2023 07:03

I've always drunk lots of water. Can't say if it makes a difference but do notice in the days where I haven't drunk so much.

Mayhemmumma · 13/07/2023 07:18

I don't get the afternoon slump if I drink enough water and feel fuller

Lovemybunnies · 27/06/2024 20:37

I feel a huge difference when I drink more water. I feel much better but I have to be very proactive drinking and sit with a jug next to me.

hastalav · 27/06/2024 20:44

We don't need anything like we are brainwashed into thinking we do. Bottled water companies must be rubbing their hands together. OK if you are sick, dehydrated in very hot weather or through exercise etc. by all means slug it down, otherwise just drink when thirsty. Tea, coffee, yogurt, some fruits all contribute to water intake too.

I'm not for a minute saying it doesn't help some people, but too much water can drain some very important nutrients, minerals, salts and so on from the system too, and can be very dangerous. Not the ordinary amounts, I'm talking litres and litres every day just because you do, not because you're thirsty.

I don't bother much, only when thirsty. Otherwise honestly I am peeing for the day and half the night. Not anymore though since I cut back on it. No difference to skin, energy or anything else so far.
