Do it in the oven! Risotto al forno is a game changer...

Pineapple's easy when you know how. Just slice off the bottom then with a sharp knife then finely remove the outer skin, leaving the brown pocks behind. With the knife and following the circular sweep of each line of pocks, remove them in little slices. It makes such a pretty pattern with leaves at the.top. slice at the table and serve with really good vanilla ice cream and/or raspberry sorbet.

Bought one years ago and still going strong and been used lots.

How to cut a pineapple:

• Get a knife
• Slice the top and the bottom off
• Slice off the sides
• You don’t need training or implements

You still end up with a one dimensional dish which to me is just a side dish 🤷🏻‍♀️

Surely it depends on what is in it? I'm not a big risotto fan but a seafood or sausage or asparagus risotto is not really a side dish!

That "implement" takes a minute and wastes nothing.
