Taylor Swift Tickets - please help me figure it out!

So I'm basically feeling old and clueless. My daughter is desperate to see her when she comes next year and I have totally missed the window to preregister etc. Even though I know I am behind the curve, can anyone advise me on the best strategy to get tickets now? My best locations are Edinburgh and Cardiff, but could do London or Liverpool if needed. I've read some other threads but I think I'm behind the curve and need to figure out what to do now...

@Doteycat have you you had emails saying you'll have access? I only know 1 person who has had an email saying she'll get a chance to buy for Paris. I haven't had any despite registering for all Europe 😂

Yes I had none up to 10 mins ago then I got ireland Madrid and paris in the space of 5 mins. 4 nights in paris it says so FINGERS CROSSED.

I got waitlist for Paris, Ireland and Madrid. Have emails confirming I will get codes for the presale for Zurich, Hamburg, Vienna, Lisbon and Warsaw. Sales variously 11-13th. Have presale presale code for London opening on the 10th so fingers crossed!

If you or any friends/family have an Amex Platinum then concierge should be able to get tickets….although at a price. They have come up with the impossible for me on several occasions.

Wow loving the Amex idea...I of course do not have it, but asking family immediately. Feeling pretty bad for DD now that all the new concert dates are out and since we didn't preregister we can't even think of getting tickets for them...

I registered for London, Cardiff and Liverpool. The pre registration thing said we had to register for each city individually.... which I did. But I only got the one confirmation email and I only received one email today. I have no idea which city it's for. Anyone else?!

Also, today's email has absolutely baffled me.
Is it saying we MIGHT get a code on the 14th and if we do we then have another date to try and use that code to buy tickets? But still it'll be a bum fight with virtual queues and websites crashing?

What day is ticket release? It was listed on the registration website the other week but that's gone now. Tickets went on sale on different days for different cities....

I don't know which city I've been accepted for as being interested in and I know they were going to be on sale on different dates. I can't use my phone at work so might need to take some A/L for this but I have absolutely no idea what day 😂

I already feel sad we’re unlikely to get tickets (we will try) and I’ve read that it’s 4 tickets per purchase… I had hoped to take my 3 teenage dds with dh but now, if we do get tickets, will have to go without dh which also makes me sad and stressed. Not because dh is a Swifty but Dds are and he’d enjoy seeing them enjoy it (I love her too).

I’m kind of resigned it’s not going to happen and even if it does, it’s not the experience of the 5 of us going I’d imagined. In the scheme of things I know it’s minor and frees up money for other stuff.

I have no idea which city I'm being considered for and therefore no idea which day next week I might need to take some A/L on to try and get tickets if I get a code on Friday.

Still no guarantee. There were people with the Midnights codes who were trying yesterday who didn't manage to get a ticket - either nothing left by the time they got to the front of the queue or only the crazy money VIP tickets. Your place in the queue is randomly allocated so you can get lucky and be near the front (me yesterday) or be unlucky and near the back.

Thanks for the advice. So there's no point logging in ages before... it is what it is? Random? What about traffic on the ticket websites? Usually for these things if you load the page you're in a six figure queue just to gain access to the website. Will there still be this hurdle to jump as well?

With the sales this week (for those with midnights album codes) this is the process:

  1. Click link on email in the half an hour before the sale starts to get access to the waiting room. (Some people have struggled with this and have had to click multiple times).
  1. Wait in waiting room while nervous tension builds. Put code in when it asks you to (I think it was at the end of the waiting room but a bit hazy on this now).
  1. When waiting room time ends, you get randomly assigned a place in the queue. In Ticketmaster it tells you your place number, in AXS you just get a progress bar that jumps forward periodically.
  1. Get let in to the sale. Tell it how many tickets you want to purchase (Midnights codes have been limited to 4, not sure about the general sale next week). Click on the price you want to pay, it tells you if there are tickets available, and if they are where they are in the stadium.
  1. Decide if you are ok to proceed with the tickets you have been given or if you want to try again / change price selection.
  1. Go through to checkout. Put in credit card details while repeating "it will be worth it, it's once in a lifetime, don't think about the money, shit shit shit don't crash now please god"
  1. Complete payment. Whoop at a noise level appropriate to your surroundings.

Next week there will be an additional step which is: Find Out If You Got A Code For Any Of The Cities You Registered For.
