Taylor Swift Tickets - please help me figure it out!

So I'm basically feeling old and clueless. My daughter is desperate to see her when she comes next year and I have totally missed the window to preregister etc. Even though I know I am behind the curve, can anyone advise me on the best strategy to get tickets now? My best locations are Edinburgh and Cardiff, but could do London or Liverpool if needed. I've read some other threads but I think I'm behind the curve and need to figure out what to do now...

I think when we got free tickets, she was much less popular. It was her Reputation tour.

My understanding is that a concert promoter gives unsold tickets to the doctors and nurses at the hospital to thank them for having saved his life. We’ve been offered lots of tickets over the years, always at short notice - Robbie Williams and Noel Gallagher are the last ones I remember. It’s never anything I really want to see, so we usually decline.

DD wasn’t a TS fan at the time, she was persuaded to go because it was something free to do with her mates. She’s a massive fan now and has a pre-sale option because she bought the last album before it was released (or something).

Yeah the Rep tour was much less popular (I enjoyed it though). I think she amassed a lot of fans over lockdown and also the tour has quite the hype on tik tok and the like which makes more people want to go.

So today is when those who have registered are meant to get an email from ticketmaster if we've got a chance of buying tickets. Has anybody received anything yet?

I registered pretty much straight away but I’ve not had an email yet. I don’t even want tickets for a child, I want them for me 😳🤣.

No email yet! But I have gone into ticketmaster and updated my password, card details etc so when the queuing actually happens that is one less hurdle!

OP, I think a lot of people will be going to stand outside the stadiums to listen in. That might be your best bet!

The midnights code is tomorrow and Friday.

Today is the email saying whether you’re getting access to the general sale or not.

I registered for a few european cities and not an email to be seen.
Im hoping for Paris as she is playing 3 nights there, no clue if that will make it easier or not. I use the word "easier", pfft nothing easy about this.
We would travel though, we have done a few concerts in Paris and its amazing. Its a great idea for a trip esp as we no longer do the big family holiday and the dds are scattered. Brings us together.

How does that work? There are waiting lists yet tickets are given away?

I got tickets for a sold out Take That concert once that way too, via a friend.

They aren't unsold tickets as such. They are the ones reserved by the promotors and agents which often go to family and friends of people involved. But if not used/taken up they are sometimes offered to organisations such as the NHS to issue - its often fairly late notice of just a couple of days or so.

New dates of Sunday the 9th of June added for Edinburgh, Thursday 13th for Liverpool and Sunday the 23rd for Wembley

New date for code or waitlisting of up to the 14th

and different, staggered ticket sale dates and times

I got this email too - so just this just mean that we won’t hear anything more now until next week? And if we’re lucky enough to get a code that will then give us access to the general sale - but it’s still gonna be a nightmare trying to get tickets even if we have the code?

Jsut got a bunch of emails from the different TM sites.
They go on sale various days so I will take what I can get.
Its still going to be Hunger Games but so be it.
Once in a lifetime I reckon.
Harry Styles in Paris was something we will never forget.
