Hey girls, so I had my lips done 5 days ago and my top lip looks like it's already migrated?? Or is this normal considering its only been 5 days since I had them done? Has anyone else had them done and/or has this happened to you? My first time getting them done and I had Juverdem Ultra 3 in them.

Wow op they're very big
If you have them dissolved and re done I'd suggest starting with 0.5
Also 'trained by someone at Harley street' means nothing, you need to find a highly recommended doctor - not the cheapest local place. Your face is too precious to fuck with.

Ignoring the goady thread derailer - @Kayx28 I don't think they look much different today, but they do look a BIT better.

ThoughtfulCow · 05/07/2023 19:25

Watch out for skin damage op as you're only young still. Sun beds are terrible for health.

headcheffer · 05/07/2023 19:25

OP, they don't look well done at all. Please don't get more put in, just have these dissolved.

KimWexlersPonyTail · 05/07/2023 19:26

A note about Harley Street, it means nothing. Anyone can rent a room there and advertise as being Harley Street. Different therapists and Drs etc are in and out each day of the week.

@WhileMyGuitarGentlyWeeps No I'm chuckling away to myself. Come on, you can't be interested in such a vapid thread?

Why are you posting on a thread that is "vapid"?

JoolsFlyte · 05/07/2023 19:28

I'm just sad that's all how it's changed so much on here. Was probably the one place on the Internet I felt welcome and like it was for me. I can't use Facebook etc because seeing stuff like this makes me want to tear my hair out. I will go away now, promise.

SirChenjins · 05/07/2023 19:30

Oh you poor thing OP Sad hope you manage to get it sorted.

JoolsFlyte · 05/07/2023 19:21

@yipeeyiyay I know does anyone remember Anyfucker? She used to give people loads of sh*t, including me on a thread I posted. Would prefer that though to how it is now.

AnyFucker was/ is straight talking but never obnoxious in the way you are being.

Supremely unhelpful ... AND rude! Hmm

choccytime · 05/07/2023 19:43

But true ...

garlicandsapphires · 05/07/2023 19:45

I wouldn’t do it personally but if OP likes the look then she should go for it, as should anyone else who wants to!
FGS!!!

Pleasebeafleabite · 05/07/2023 19:49

Whatever happened to if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all

Justplainsadmad · 05/07/2023 19:51

I don't have any personal experience. But next time you get them done or sorted. Please go to a official person and take personal recommendations. Hope you get it sorted ♥️

Yes, if women want that look then they shouldn’t be stopped obviously, but my god, the whole industry needs a complete overhaul and far stricter regulation. No woman should be left with lips that looks like that (or worse) and the worry that goes along with it - not to mention the discomfort involved in getting them fixed (if they can be).

JudgeAnderson · 05/07/2023 19:53

Fillers aren't everyone's thing but bloody hell there's no need to be horrible, OP is asking for advice, if you've none to give leave her be.

CuteAsDuck · 05/07/2023 19:53

They do look overfilled. Do you know what technique was used? The volume seems to be at and above the vermillion border which is what's giving the migrated look.

Im guessing from your comment about wanting to go bigger again you were prob expecting more volume in your actual lip.

Placement may be wrong in which case I'd dissolve if I was you and start again.

Give them another day or two to see if they settle anymore but maybe start having a look for another injector in the meantime. Look for examples of corrections and dissolving on their social media.

Missingmyusername · 05/07/2023 20:01

Not had it, but are you able to YouTube and massage yourself or you not supposed to?

If I was going to have it I’d only have 0.5ml. See how that looks. To me, it’s like they injected just above your lip line?

I wouldn’t ask to go bigger.

Kayx28 · 05/07/2023 20:11

You can't massage them yourself, the aesthetic practitioner can only do that. I'm just going to wait till the 2 weeks is up go back, let them massage them if they look the same or not much difference I'm just going to get them dissolved and refilled with 0.5ml by someone else.

TurtleTriplets · 05/07/2023 20:48

If you can afford to have them dissolved then I would do that.

There are different techniques, the woman who does mine does "The Catherine Amy Technique" very similar to Russian lips I think.

Definitely do some research and find someone who has proven good results.

krill · 05/07/2023 21:41

Kayx28 · 05/07/2023 19:12

Would you say get mine dissolved and redone by someone else if they still look the same after the 2 weeks is up?

Yes, do that. Someone else. Look at examples of their work first. Lips aren't easy to get right or look great.

I'd say 0.5 ml to start, but I've seen great practitioners inject 1ml to start and they're not swollen over the border like that.

You can massage yourself, with warm flannel applied, but that's really advice for the odd tiny lump, not the way your lips have been left.

CriticalAlert · 06/07/2023 10:26

I'm really sorry if I offended you OP. It wasn't my intention. I can be a bit of a straight talker and my mouth can get me into trouble. But I am sorry. I hope you can get this 'mended' and all will be OK. X

PrincessHoneysuckle · 06/07/2023 10:36

Far too much filler unless you're specifically wanted that look.i had 0.5ml top up recently it gives you much less projection from the side profile
