OP posts:
TrueScrumptious · 02/07/2023 16:00

No. It’s warm, though not as warm as it has been. I’m in London

mrsbyers · 02/07/2023 16:00

Mine has never been switched off , set to come on at 18 and have heard it click on a few times over the last few weeks but not for long

cinnamonfrenchtoast · 02/07/2023 16:02

No way. It's still 17-18 degrees outside - hardly cold! We're on the NW coast and I've been working outdoors all week in shorts.

CrazilySensitive · 02/07/2023 16:02

No, but I'm in East Sussex. It's warm here. Much cooler than it was last week, but that's a relief, as it was far too hot then. I spoke to my mum in Northern Ireland on the phone just now though and she said she lit the fire earlier, so probably similar to Scotland

smilesup · 02/07/2023 16:02

NW. No but then we are northern and skint.

bert3400 · 02/07/2023 16:02

Nope had the AC on as it's 32c ...Costa Blanca 😊

TokyoSushi · 02/07/2023 16:04

It did cross my mind, but no, currently sat on the sofa with a blanket.

DanceMonster · 02/07/2023 16:06

No, my living room is still 21 degrees even though the outside temp has dropped a bit

tacomaco · 02/07/2023 16:09

Yes, Perthshire. During the week one evening was quite cold and rainy. Heating was on for about an hour.

Superdupes · 02/07/2023 16:12

No and it won't be on until October at the earliest. (SW England).

Gingerlygreen · 02/07/2023 16:13

Nope, all my windows are open, I'm in Staffordshire.

I do have a jumper on and my heated throw across my legs because my feet were cold.

escript · 02/07/2023 16:14

It's still too warm here. All the windows are open.

Tomorrow much colder, apparently.

aintnospringchicken · 02/07/2023 16:15

No. In East coast of Scotland.

AllAboardTootToot · 02/07/2023 16:15

thought about it a couple of mins ago. We are in North Lanarkshire. It’s cold!

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 02/07/2023 16:17

No I'm lying on the sofa with the back door open, it's really warm and sunny (south west.)

ApolloandDaphne · 02/07/2023 16:17

East coast Scotland here. Heating not been on for a while. Hive says the inside of my house is 20 degrees which is plenty warm.

Bs0u416d · 02/07/2023 16:19

We put the log burner on in the week!

Limetreee · 02/07/2023 16:19

West Yorkshire here. It’s far too warm for the heating. We have t shirts on and the windows open, the breeze is lovely.

Floralnomad · 02/07/2023 16:20

SE England and we’ve still got fans going .

onepleasureatatime · 02/07/2023 16:21

I was thinking about it, or maybe having a fire but it’s 22c inside and only a degree or so cooler outside. It feels colder. I’m in east anglia.

Housekeeperbatcocoa · 02/07/2023 16:22

We've got the fire lit - I'm visiting family and it's absolutely freezing!

Be honest, has anyone had the heating on?
Justmuddlingalong · 02/07/2023 16:22

I thought about it. But put sheepskin baffies and a hoodie on instead. We've a slate grey sky and heavy showers here atm.

PlasticineKing · 02/07/2023 16:26

SE Scotland. Not cold per day but flippin windy. Having to close a few windows but fine here.

cheezncrackers · 02/07/2023 16:27

Not since April, no. Home counties here. I tend to have the back door and the windows open all day in summer, but I appreciate that our climate down here is very different to parts of Scotland!

JaninaDuszejko · 02/07/2023 16:27

No, but I'm in northern England where you don't need heating on for months in the summer, it's about 21C in the house at the moment and we have all the windows open, the official temp outside 17C but that's high summer to me. I grew up in the north of Scotland and it would be quite normal to need the heating on all summer if the weather was disappointing so put it on and enjoy.
