I'm a bit bored & am doom scrolling randomness (read as utter drivel) on t'interweb.

Dd1 has snoozed the afternoon away after prom, last night, and then meeting me with dd2 for lunch after my chemo this morning.

Dd2 had a training day at school but still got up with me & had a steady morning. She's also upstairs & potentially asleep - it's incredibly quiet down here!

Their dad has gone to get a shower & then play his f1 game probably.

I'll get in after him, then split the HUGE cakes I bought yesterday for "tea". I'm not overly hungry after lunch but have been looking forward to them very much & imagine Marvin (dd2 calls my stomach Marvin since the chemo steroids seem to be making me hungry!) 😋

I might finish my latest "when I'm bored of this one" crochet project later on & then read or just chill in front of the tv since we'll be out again tomorrow.

Well I'm off soon to do my 3rd night shift in a row. Not sure what my adult dd's are doing.

This eve I'm snotty and sneezing with hayfever despite prescription only antihistamines. Bliddy hayfever has got me exhausted today.

Just submitted my gas and elec meter readings as my smart meters disconnected 7 months ago and I'm going round in circles with Octopus about it. I have lost the will to email them any more.

I'm drinking wine and contemplating heating up the supermarket curry I have for dinner.

DD is at her dad's this eve so I am in charge of the tv remote but can't find anything to watch. So like you, mindlessly scrolling.

(Hope you’re not feeling too bad after your chemo, OP. Mine used to make me really ill for a few days.)

DD had a school trip today and is exhausted. We’re sitting watching a nice kids’ tv show and both feeling a bit worn out. Had some tiramisu for tea! I’ve got a salad in the fridge, I might have it later or I might not. We’re hanging out with our cat on the sofa and throwing a ball for the new kitten to play with. The kitten is the only one with any energy!

So basically a boring unhealthy evening and plans for a better day tomorrow! 😉

Ds2 has just left to go home. He called in to see me on his way from home from work.
Ds1 has just phoned to see if we want to go over to his house and then go for something to eat. DH has just phoned to say that he is nearly home and asked what are we doing tonight so I've said we are going to DS1 and out for food.
Dh wanted a quiet night in!

Am in bed,eating salted cashews,drinking wine and reading a Rosamunde Pilcher book

Husband’s on call (doctor) so we’ve had a quick dinner in case he has to go out. Enjoying a gin and tonic and looking forward to having the bed to myself 😂 Not much else really! Just getting my daughter to bed then watch some TV.

Got 4 year old granddaughter for the night. She's ruling the TV, we, re currently on Bing. How annoying is he?!. Will start the bedtime routine in 5 minutes. Forgot how tiring it is with small kids, either that or I'm too old!

Just DH and me at home. DS (19) gets home from a short trip away at about 11.30pm.

Got some tomatoes roasting in the oven, then DH will be cooking beef ravioli which we'll have with the tomatoes and fresh pesto.

I'm going to do an hour of piano practice now.

We are having a steak dinner in a bit then I’m having a bath, packing and doing nails and eyebrows as we are going to a wedding tomorrow, driving straight to the church and staying at the hotel where the reception is so will get ready at home first. It’s a few hours away so hopefully won’t be too crumpled!!

we will all shower in the morning, I’ll have to use a shower cap 😂 haven’t used one ever I don’t think! Luckily we buy them for proving our bread (they fit perfectly over the lid of the proving bowl!) so we have plenty of disposable ones to choose from - it won’t be used again for bread purposes!

We'll be eating leftovers from yesterday and then I'll refill the hummingbird feeder, followed by an evening of TV.

DD3 might bake banana-oat-choc chip cookies.

Watching rubbish : Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip

We have just had a Chinese takeaway. DH is now in the shower.

Once he's out and settled we will watch Episode 3 of Outlander, then the TV will go off and DH will play his game on his laptop and I will read.

Just coming home from kids activity. DH and I had friends round last night so ridiculously ended up staying up drinking until 2am. Regretted that all day. Off to McDonald's drive through. Pjs, tv and bed. Can't wait to get on the sofa.

I made chicken soup with dumplings, and ate about eight dumplings. Now I feel sick. That's as exciting as my Friday night gets.

I've just got in from work where the lady I've been caring for is quite near the end I think so it's been a bit tough this afternoon. I'm
Meant to be going out for a few drinks with some friends so should be getting ready. What I'm actually doing is lying in bed with the dog on me watching the very autumnal feeling rain on the window and drinking a cup of tea. I think we know what the outcome will be.
DH will be back shortly with the DSS's after collecting them (and DD2 has gone with him), hopefully having given them dinner en route. DD1 is off out for dinner in the next town over with her mates as they say they have seen all the boys in our small town so need someone new to look at. She is nearly 18 and living her best life!

Good evening everyone! I'm having a glass of wine and scrolling on here. Going to read some of my book later I'm on book 15 of the year which I'm really pleased with.

Ds 12 is a bit emotional tonight it was his last day of primary school today so treated him to a Mcdonalds in an attempt to cheer him up but he's still a bit down. Feeling a bit emotional about it all aseell but trying to be positive for his sake.

Dh is working away and will be back at some point tomorrow.

DH is out for the evening. DD is in bed after a busy day at school. My DS's are both at football training so once I pick them up I will chill at home with a very large G&T with my mother in law. She lives with us and like a mum to me. We get on well and she is great company. Love Friday nights after a busy week.

I have abandoned my teenagers and gone to the pub next door with a friend

The small people are asleep, our son in bed, our daughter on me, so I’m trapped on the sofa for a while. I’ve got some studying to do, so at least I can use her as my excuse not to. My husband has an interview on Monday, so he is prepping a presentation for that.

Later we’re going to start watching young royals, I’m going to give it a go without subtitles.

Cooking dinner currently (korma baked basa with chips snd fried peas). Took daughter in to school to give her A level teachers some homemade fudge earlier
We were supposed to drive two hours tomorrow for a uni open day but daughter fell down the stairs yesterday and has really hurt her back and didn't like the half hour drive to school so we may not go - shame as next one is not til the Autumn (she's doing an art foundation diploma next year so hadn't done uni applications yet).
Other than that enjoying the cooler day!

Hubby watching a movie and I've just done my physio exercises so am sore and resting. But they are done and today there was improvement, so I'm.happy.

Off to my first ever baby shower tomorrow. Exciting.

I’m in the bath and going to paint nails etc after as going out with old school friend tomorrow. Youngest picked up his first car today so out with pals and the worry starts! Will FaceTime DD in a bit as she lives in Manchester, 300 miles away and log onto match to see what horrors have messaged Love reading your posts. X

We are camping with the grandchildren, it has been drizzling all day and I'm a bit of a fairweather camper. It's been quiet on the site since Wednesday when we arrived but the weekend influx are here and it's now very noisy with kids and cars and vans arriving . Everything feels ever so slightly damp at the moment
