My 26 year old DS recently moved back in with me following a relationship breakdown. He's had a rough few months but had a job interview today and they offered him the job within a few hours! He is over the moon and it's already done wonders for his confidence. I'm so proud of him Smile anyone else got good news however small?

Great stuff, onwards and upwards!

In other news, after having done ballet as a kid, and then taking it up again in - ahem - later life, I finally nailed pirouettes today😂

It's a customer service role, basic salary £25k plus commission. He will be great at it.

My ds (21) has had a shit year as his first in his nursing degree, as he developed epilepsy which stopped him doing his placement.

He's repeating the second part of first year but hasn't got to go to lectures until March. This week he's got himself a job (bar work but hey, anything goes) and cashed out his savings to buy a ticket to visit 2 mates in Australia! I'm so chuffed he's not letting the epilepsy get him down and he's going on a huge adventure. So proud of him!

DD has been given an academic achievement award (year 11). We won't know which one until the presentation night next week. There's only one awarded in each subject, with a year group of over 200 pupils. She has worked so hard despite being diagnosed with CHD, dealing with bereavement and several other hardships. I am so proud of her.
