It’s beyond pathetic to be late on stage (at 10pm ffs!) because your hair wasn’t ready. And to then sit on stage having your hair finished, not even properly performing?!

Iplayer are quite often late getting performances online, just because it’s not there yet doesn’t mean it won’t be. Plus some acts don’t want their performances on there, the BBC aren’t ‘dissing’ LDR because her half arsed, half set isn’t online.

And I bet he'll be bloody amazing. We saw him at the O2 last month and he is always a showman.
He's also got pretty much the same band he's had since the 70s which say a lot about the man also.

She was late & disorganised. Blaming the delay on hair is not on, it did not look it had a lot of time spent on it tbh.

@beguilingeyes he's also a very lovely man in private- I know a relative well and a lot about what he does for people. Musically I find him a bit hit and miss (some of it I love - Tiny Dancer in my top 10 songs ever) but will always have a great deal of admiration for him

I think it should be pointed out that her set wasn't cut.
She had a time slot and a deadline/curfew.
She choice to sue some of her set time to do her hair.
Her fault she couldn't get through the wings she'd planned.

@Crikeyalmighty his 70s stuff is incredible. Like a.lot he people he got a bit lost in the 80s/90s but that early run of albums is just wonderful.

This. ^ Lana is not big enough - or GOOD enough to play the Diva. Beyonce, Rihanna, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion, or Mariah Carey she ain't.

She has neither the fan base OR the talent of the above named, and her fan base is not giant. She will regret her behaviour.

I think she's a disgrace and unfortunately for my DS he won't be going to see her in Hyde Park next month because if she can't turn up on time for a festival and blames her hair not being done (in spite of presumably having ALL DAY to get ready) then she can't be trusted to turn up for her own gig on time. I'm relieved because I can't stand her dirge, but I was prepared to do it for him. Piss poor, pathetic and unprofessional.

I thought the Norman F*ing Rockwell was awesome. Not quite so won over by the last album unfortunately.

I love that Chrissie Hynde didn't f*ck around with her hair and makeup - straight on and gave the fans what they wanted - she's the real deal though - songwriter, guitarist, singer, very at ease on stage and talking to the audience.
