Texas are playing right now. What an absolute bloody delight to see Sharleen Spiteri, looking exactly like herself at 55, giving it all. Her voice is still amazing. Rock on!

I saw them recently and there was almost no audience interaction. I do think he's as hot as fuck though. I don't need him to talk I can just look at his pretty face...

Alex Turner is DD1's old man crush! When I told her I'd seen Artic Monkeys first time round she didn't actually believe me! She's got a ticket for Glasgow on Sunday. I'll be listening from the comfort of my living room across the road!

Agree. Arrogant and they just don't seem to be enjoying themselves.

DH and I were just saying we're finding this a bit dull. AT is a good songwriter and a stylish fella, but seems to have believed his own hype for too long.

Can't imagine he'll lose too much sleep over the opinions of us old codgers though 😆

I’ve seen AMs at Glasto before, they were v good. But this isn’t doing it for me.
As a PP said, they don’t look like they’re enjoying it. It is AT’s ‘nerves’ around his voice? Trying to be too cool for school?
Just seems a bit flat so far.

I know he's had laryngitis but his voice isn't good enough for the slow songs (or the whole of their last album). It works much better on their fast early stuff. The band look like they're just there for the ££
