Tesco Clubcard vouchers - what do you switch them into?

What are you transferring your Clubcard vouchers over to? With Tesco changing the terms so that vouchers are only worth 2x value rather than 3x value I'm undecided what to convert my vouchers too before the deadline.

Magazines - 6 or 12 month subscriptions for presents for elderly relatives etc.

RampantIvy · 13/06/2023 22:47

There is nothing I would want to use them for other than paying for food.

TakeMyStrongHand · 13/06/2023 22:49

West mids safari park a few years back. It was amazing and I fully recommend. For reference, I live near Woburn and it is dogshit compared to west mids.

The Disney plus offer they have but it's a bit of a palaver to get working when you have an active subscription.

Gah, I've been trying to do this all evening but just keep getting the website CRASHING when I try to add to my basket. Luckily the 3 x offer is extended until Thursday so I'll try again tomorrow. I did it for someone else today, who ordered £550+ Pizza Express vouchers (!), which worked fine!

Denby

CandyLeBonBon · 13/06/2023 23:00

Using them to pay for online tuition but the app keeps crashing

CrumbliestCrumble · 13/06/2023 23:01

Longleat, legoland, sealife and hungry horse. ( not a fan but dcs love it)

Pumpkintopf · 13/06/2023 23:01

Irish ferries - paid for our crossing
Have also done hotels in the past
Great as it's free money really but regret the drop originally from 4x value to 3x and now to 2.

EnthENd · 13/06/2023 23:02

I didn't have many. I got one of the courses, ok only done three or the lessons so far but I'm not very impressed. The course material ... well it's not wrong strictly speaking, but in some bits I already know about the course shows such a strange way of doing it that it makes me doubt the quality.

Anyone any experience of rhe OnlineSchool offer? I'm toying with that for DD who starts yr10 in Sept.

We always do Disney+ uses to do delivery saver but that's rubbish now. Used to to magazine subs but they are a massive rip off as can get the subs for a fraction of the voucher price.

Just looking at Black Country museum... also looked at shakesphere birthplace but that seems complicated (and we can use blue peter badges for the kids !)

Supergluerules · 13/06/2023 23:08

Changed mine for Goldsmith vouchers(I deserve a treat), don't eat at any of the restaurants offered or need days out tickets any more.

Exchanged tonnes last year for Denby which was really good value.

Tacocatgoatcheesepizza · 13/06/2023 23:09

I’ve ordered some vouchers for zizzi and ask but although I’ve got the confirmation email I haven’t had any codes through and all my Clubcard vouchers are still there as if I hadn’t used them?!

It took a couple of hours to come through for me.

HMW1906 · 13/06/2023 23:11

I’m the past we’ve done Railcards, Disney+, Denby for 2 full dinner plate sets, airport parking, Hoseasons, Goldsmiths (pretty much covered the cost of my wedding ring) and random days out.

Been trying to get on this evening to do some tickets for days out when we go away on a U.K. break later this year but the website keeps crashing.

UndercoverCop · 13/06/2023 23:11

This year, Chessington, Legoland, pizza express and Eurotunnel
Previously we've done Warwick castle and Longleat too, Legoland we've done before and Eurotunnel has probably had the most use. Oh also Railcard two together.
I love it.
Annoying they're changing from triple to double value for rewards.

afromom · 13/06/2023 23:16

We've just booked 3 nights in a hotel in Barcelona for next year with the hotel.com vouchers (£560). Got flights to match for only £160. So a cheap getaway!
We get loads of vouchers due to huge diesel bills each month and a large food shop budget, so I'm gutted it's changing as we've done pretty well over the years with the vouchers. Still 2x is still better than nothing!

JustFrustrated · 13/06/2023 23:23

Spa seekers.

I used some month before last and just used my last on some more. Heavily discount the local spa for DH and I then.

Highflow · 13/06/2023 23:44

I changed mine the other day.
Booked eurotunnel for our holiday to France in the summer.
A Friday-Monday at Butlins in the summer hols.
Cineworld, x 4 people

MaggieFS · 13/06/2023 23:46

If you're swapping them for aquariums and Legoland type places, how long are they valid before you have to cash them in?

UpTheAnte · 13/06/2023 23:49

Usually 6 months but they've extended it to 12 months for vouchers exchanged before this deadline.

Batalax · 13/06/2023 23:56

Pizza express, ask and chef and brewer.

We’ve had amazing holiday deals abroad in the past, including Disneyland Paris, when they were 4x.

converseandjeans · 14/06/2023 00:01

Railcard & Eurotunnel

Cakeorchocolate · 14/06/2023 00:19

Pizza express for us.
But then that's what I've always used ours on, other than a few Disney+ vouchers.

I might do a theme park if I wasn't pregnant.

Was a year when I got vouchers for merlin attractions so maybe the same for others?
