Do you wear a tracksuit on a plane?

Or do you have a specific plane outfit?
I never used to really and would fly in whatever clothes I was wearing that day, (jeans and a jumper usually).
I've noticed people seem to have specific outfits to fly now, a posh tracksuit (if one exists)!?
I (snobbishly) see tracksuits as a bit chavvy but also now want to get one for flying!

Don't your legs get freezing cold?

No, I’ve never found planes to be overly cold and I run quite hot anyway so it’s never been an issue.

DanceMonster · 13/06/2023 18:28

i usually find places to be boiling hot!

Anything comfortable, fairly loose fitting, adaptable to warm/cold conditions.

@MammaTo me too! I love the whole experience (usually), the airport, the plane, the drinks 😆

This thread is making me so happy I've planned several outfits 🤣

Leggings/joggers
Soft jumper or hoody.

@BitOutOfPractice I love the look of the jumpsuit, is it annoying for going to the loo though?

I fly in leggings, a vest top and a light hoodie so I'm not too cold on the plain and not too hot when I reach my destination.

Depending on the time of the flight/arrival and hotel check in I might wear swimwear instead of underwear for short haul Grin

I’m an experience jump suit wearer and this one is stretchy enough to just pull down. Probably quicker than undoing a belt, button and zip on jeans I think.

I would usually wear leggings and a hoodie.

When I've been sent on first/business class flights through work you get given pyjamas. Always pretty funny to see stern looking middle aged business men wandering about in their pyjamas 😆they certainly look comfy though. May be an option OP?

I have a very soft knitted long dress I wear that has a tie belt, have worn this the last two times I have flown. It’s very comfortable and wear with slip on shoes. I have been chosen to get a free upgrade to business class so must look ok.

I 100% wear trackies on a plane, because even if it's short haul it's not just the couple of hours on the flight, it's the to and from the airport, possibly a drive or train or bus trip. And I would choose comfort over style every single day of the week.

I don't own a tracksuit though, maybe I need one! Usually just lob a big jumper on. And I always take slippers in hand luggage for long haul so I can get really comfy.
