Used after the cut off point of 10 weeks.

Regardless of how far gone she was, surely this isn't right?

It is her body, despite me morally really thinking what she did was very wrong.

And these is the ‘opinion’ of all the top medical bodies and organisations

plenty of amazing female MPs campaigning for this too

it’s the crusty politicians that are blocking the change in law

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:02

Unsure33 of course you are fully entitled to your harmful ‘opinion’

Unsure33 · 13/06/2023 01:02

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:00

Unsure33 the vast majority of terminations happen under 10-12 weeks
in rare cases late abortions happen due to mental illness, distress, vulnerability and fetal abnormality and in these cases yes it should not be a criminal offence whatsoever

That is very different to saying abortion up to term with no reason to be given .

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:03

Unsure33 I don’t know of a case where no reason has been given as a late abortion

Trying arguing without being so rude. I bet it’s difficult for you.

Abortions aren't illegal in those cases though

Sadly, there’s no logic. This is why we are failing women and girls. People don’t follow logic or principle and rely on pathetic opinions and experiences that invalidate a woman’s bodily autonomy in favour of an unborn. It’s all emotive and illogical. That’s where the failing is.

So lay out EXACTLY what the law should say .

The woman is evil, as simple as that. Plenty of opportunity to abort the baby if that's what she wanted to do. Her method was totally inhumane and disgusting. She deserves to serve her time and her existing children deserve a better mother.

“ an unborn “

I think there are some people who have protected religious views that you may have really insulted there.

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:07

there should be no law on abortion
it’s an essential part of women’s health and should be treated as such
if you want to learn why doctors want this to happen, Google the position statements of the royal college of midwives, the royal college of obstetricians and the faculty of sexual health, fawcett societY (womens health orgs)
there’s a lot of info online
i don’t have time to educate you, but you can take the time to be more informed

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:08

Unsure33 who gives a toss about religion? It’s made up crap that has no place in a civilised or rational society. Religion harms
women.

7eleven · 13/06/2023 01:09

I have no problem with the sentence. She killed a viable child.

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:09

Scoobydoobydoobydoo0987 and I bet you’re a great person

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:10

7eleven What a lovely person you are

I am actually. Pretty keen on babies not being killed when they are capable of living.

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:12

7eleven nah. that’s believing the rights of an unborn baby outweigh a woman’s. Hardly prolife.

MakesMeFeelSad · 13/06/2023 01:12

I'm not sure making it legal for women to take abortion pills at 32 + weeks when that's not what they are for is in the best interest of women's health, physical or mental

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:13

MakesMeFeelSad no medical pills shouldnt be taken that late in that way
I’m glad we can agree on something! 😂👏🏼

JustGeorgie · 13/06/2023 01:15

Aborting babies leaves women feeling happier ?

Or do they live with the regret and pain of it all?

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:09

You just need to be a half decent human being to not do something like that, not great.

Well that is what she did, without once trying to go down the legal route for a termination

You may have a point if she had and had been refused

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:16

JustGeorgie The last time I checked around 200,000 women have abortions
thats 1 in 3
almost equivalent to the number of births every year
most women who have abortions feel
relief - that’s what studies show
it’s not the right time, or they can’t afford it, or they don’t want to be trapped in a situation with an abusive parent etc
women have abortions for good reasons

JustGeorgie · 13/06/2023 01:17

Late term abortions?

Confusedlovee · 13/06/2023 01:17

MakesMeFeelSad sigh whatever

I can’t believe women hold these views
we must get better at education starting from school years
