I think she looks amazing! If I had a body like that I'd show off too! I did think if it was me I'd worry about my dinner belly showing though!!

AutumnCrow · 10/06/2023 17:51

It's like the Rule Of X-Factor: eventually, women will appear in public in their pants, while men don't.

And then the bullshit really starts.

That is a big part of the problem for me. I think it's highly unlikely she'll eat much of anything at all, because the 'outfit' wouldn't be getting such praise with a bit of pasta bloat. Another example of women's 'clothing' (and I use the term very loosely here) treating women as objects with one purpose - looking pretty - and foregoing all practicality. It makes women uncomfortable. It starts in primary school, with girls wearing little dresses and t bar shoes and not able to jump in puddles (wet feet) or do gymnastics (show their knickers) or play football (legs get cut, tights get ripped) while boys wear hard wearing leather closed foot shoes and trousers with reinforced knees. And it ends up here, male press salivating over an almost naked woman going out to a restaurant in a dress that basically ensures she'll leave it as hungry as she went in.

Nobody is policing, they are just Expressing opinions which people generally do when someone goes On a night out in their underwear 😉

As someone upthread said, utterly classless.

This is spot on.

Exactly. I think that's the whole point of her wearing her bra and pants and some see through netting, isn't it? So she'll get peoole talking about her. I wasn't aware she does anything else of much note. Maybe leak rumours about her mother-in-law?

Hairbrushhandle · 10/06/2023 18:09

I admire the confidence. If that was me I'd be worrying about whether a piece of pasta would get stuck down it and id have to choose whether to wriggle out of the whole thing or have a piece of penne displayed to everyone.

I totally agree. To think how much opportunity they have had and how much good they could have done, yet they are reduced to courting pap snaps and instructing people how to make sandwiches….

I never get this sentiment. Just because they’re rich and/or famous they have to dedicate their lives to ‘doing good’. How much ‘good’ do you do? Do you tirelessly campaign or donate half your salary or whatever? If you haven’t dedicated your life to ‘doing good’ you can’t really demand someone else does just because they have rich parents. It’s their life and they can lead it as they choose.

AngelinaFibres · 10/06/2023 18:12

When I eat pasta my tummy gets really round. As if I was pregnant with a food baby. I wonder if hers does the same. Tricky in that outfit. She probably has to just eat 2 tiny leaves and a sip of water

Testino · 10/06/2023 18:12

Emperor's new "clothes" indeed. It's like the twilight zone with some of these "She looks so good. She can wear what she wants" posts. Only if she was wearing something in the first place...

Pure undiluted attention seeking is what that is.

FuckYouEzekiel · 10/06/2023 18:13

Cringy. They must've tipped off the paps too.

MerelySnark · 10/06/2023 18:19

How does it fasten? Is there a zip up the back or is it open, giving a bit of stretch and room for expansion?

Enquiring nosy minds need to know.

And what about needing a wee?

And everyone is going to see a wedgy. I wonder if she has double sided tape keeping her knickers un-wedgied?

Tauranga · 10/06/2023 18:29

Do you think she has pants under her pants?

Beelezebub · 10/06/2023 18:33

The first thing I thought was that it’s bad enough laddering your tights, imagine getting a ladder in that. Then I thought that she’s going to most peculiar and out of place when they get in that restaurant and sit down for dinner.

DisquietintheRanks · 10/06/2023 18:34

Weird how only women express their personality by wearing fewer and fewer clothes.

CarbsAreNotMyFriend · 10/06/2023 18:36

Let me clear that up for you. I don’t recall saying (let alone demanding) that they had to dedicate their lives to “doing good”. It’s undeniable though that they could use their considerable platform for so much more than vanity projects and the world would be a better place if they did.

Secondly, as it happens I do pitch in. I work in a thankless public sector job, I volunteer and I regularly give to charity. I am also heavily involved in support for Ukraine. So please, move the focus from my contribution and turn it back into the thread itself.

Atethehalloweenchocs · 10/06/2023 18:51

Used to be celebrities were celebrities because they did something really well. Now you have to get your picture on SM or in the papers. Yawn.

Dartmoorcheffy · 10/06/2023 17:05

She doesn't look sensational at all. She looks absolutely ridiculous in that outfit for going to a restaurant. She's not on a catwalk modelling underwear, she's out with her dim-witted husband.

This! I'd laugh 😂

I feel like she might get there, sit down and go "damn, I knew I'd left something at home!"

Some great lighthearted and thoughtful replies. I love this one though, someone needs to do a sketch or spitting image style puppet thing with this starting point. It’s abfab patsy/adina territory and I’m also wondering what if someone turned up on first dates dressed like this. Umm maybe they have lol 😂

Tis a sad state of affairs when we can't say what is obvious: she is completely and inappropriately dressed when compared with twerp next to her.

They should have done it properly and matched. They'd look more eccentric and her less desperate for the media. Ironically I bet they'd get more media attention if they matched.
Of course we'd laugh all the same if they matched 😂
