New anti bacterial spray - wtf !

Just used a new fragrance to my usual antibacterial spray and OMG it made me have a severe gag reflex to thd point of almost throwing up!

This is supposed to be one of thd non toxic brands too.

They've done this to Cif Bathroom spray - can't use it now.

I get this with a kitchen spray, I think it was Mr Muscle. It made me feel like I had been pepper sprayed. I couldn't stop choking! It was awful, like it stopped me breathing.

Never had it with anything else

This was with Method which surprised me as I use it all the time - usually lavender which is fine but this one was a refill and not lavender and honestly the reaction was horrific

I had this with a method spray i got as a replacement. The smell was so so strong!

Yes we accidentally bought a lemon scented kitchen spray and it was horrific. I couldn't even keep it on the side in the kitchen as the smell was so strong!! Horrible

Which one? I like the yuzu one. Was it the Peach one? I'm scared of that one

I've had to stop using method and ecover because they both stink to high heaven. I don't know what to use now. I currently have a cheap lemon one from Lidl, but I'd like something a bit nicer. All the cleaning sprays are dreadful now.

Method rhubarb fragrance affects me badly.

I got the method multi purpose spray, pink one, a couple of weeks ago. It's awful. Can't use it.

Another one that can’t use method rhubarb.

And me for method rhubarb, it's horrendous 🤢

I had a cif orange as a sub in online shopping. Felt like my eyes were burning with every spray and it was being used in a large ventilated room.

I have the Rhubarb one and like it. Never had a problem with any of them.

Does it actually smell like rhubarb? Who the fuck thought of that? Seems weird to me because rhubarb as a food is only palatable with the addition of sugar. So is it a sweet smell or is it rhubarb without the sugar?

Me too! I absolutely hate it. It's one of the few things I've thrown away before it was finished.

I think it smells absolutely disgusting. It must be something to do with personal smell receptors as so many people seem to love it.

Most rhubarb fragrances have a hefty hint of fresh urine about them. (this is actually a thing- it's one of the molecules (or sth) that's very similar) I had never noticed until I had a rhubarb based perfume on, that I quite liked, and my boss was wandering round going "did someone leave a window open? Something has got in and pissed in the night"

Shame about the lavender one though, I loved that.

Yeah, it's smells like a dead fox to me.

I'm a convert to the Neat mango and Fig antibac cleaner , I got it on offer from waitrose and its a very pleasant sweet fruity smell if you like that sort of thing .
