It was about a girl who's older missing sister suddenly just turns up on the doorstep one day.

She had been snatch from her pram when she was a baby.

Siberia. It was gripping. Stopped at a cliff hanger and then no further episodes were made. I was annoyed for ages 🤣

Oh, I remember Gideon ! - a little yellow duck with an abnormally long neck , the other ducks used to be very spiteful to him .
Very sad theme tune, too .
My daughter , who would have been about 3 or 4 years old , used to cry every time we watched , but would still insist on watching as it was her favourite.

I can’t remember the name of it and nothing comes up on Google but I’m sure it existed! It was like a variety of ‘creatures’ that lived behind a wall (maybe in a shop) that came to life at night and I think turned to stone again in the morning. I’m sure I can’t have dreamt it…

The Kids of Degrassi Street. Had to Google the title as only remembered that it was Canadian and had street in the title!

I used to love metal mickey but no one else seems to remember it although lots of people remember ALF. There was also a kids show drama and it was about this creepy windmill thing I have no idea what it was called.

The BBC used to make great children's tv back in the day. I remember Kizzy, Lizzie Dripping (starred Tina Heath who went onto be a Blue Peter presenter), Moondial, White Peak Farm and many, many more.

Yes , my DC watched this , there was a crocodile , a shark , (cannot remember the rest) one was called Terence .

Round the same time there was The Backyardigans who were yellow and rode horses .
The theme tune was we are your friends the Backyardigans and I'm sure they had a song that went "you need to fight fight fight with all your f*cking might" but it's a kids cartoon

The Event which was a sci-fi series on at 10-15 years ago, ended on a cliffhanger and was then cancelled
