Rubbish title but hopefully you know what I mean.

For me, those who spring to mind are:
Sir David Attenborough
Tom Hanks
Usain Bolt
Judy Dench

Graham Norton…..

Gary Barlow…..

Alexander Armstrong….

The guy who is as vet and he has a show on TV. He has an accent and his practice is based somewhere in England and seems to be specialised in very complex cases? Why can’t I remember the name of the programme?! I’ve always thought the man is so, so lovely. I want to say it’s the “Yorkshire Vet” or something similar….

@piefacedClique I met Bear Grylls at a Cubs event a few years ago and he was vile. He was so rude to the cubs who had stood for hours in torrential rain and wind waiting to meet him. He was hours late but gave no apology or explanation. He couldn’t have been less interested in being there. There were a lot of tears and disappointed children that day, and he has been held in contempt in this house ever since!

Terry Wogan

Patchworksack · 30/05/2023 22:57

David Attenborough, Alan Titchmarsh

Bob Mortimer lived very close to my old house and was always nice.

TenoringBehind · 30/05/2023 22:58

I’d be shocked to discover that David Williams wasn’t a bad’un!

In reality I've no idea. Most people get away with stuff because they are good at pretending they're nice genuine people.
But
Graham Norton
Andy Murray

Supervet!

Barack Obama, though presumably you don’t get to be president without doing some unsavoury stuff
David Attenborough
Ranger Hamza - I would seriously cry if he turned out to be either a paedo, or an arrogant twat.
Delia Smith
Keanu
Janelle Monae - I really want her to be a nice person! She seems lovely in interviews

I was surprised about Kevin Spacey though - not upset, I wasn’t a particular fan, he just didn’t really seem the type for a sex scandal.

Joanna Lumley

Rowan Atkinson

I’ve heard Rowan can be ghastly & boorish. However is reportedly akward so may be social anxiety?

cafenoirbiscuit · 30/05/2023 23:00

Gary Davies

For me, there’s no one left that would shock me.

I think fame and power corrupt even the nicest people and being a celebrity must be like swimming in a cess pit.

Noel Fitzpatrick ‘supervet’?? Sorry, need to burst your bubble on that one!

TenoringBehind · 30/05/2023 23:00

Agree with Clive Myrie. He comes across as a very decent sort of man.

Who is he?

Spareincoming · 30/05/2023 23:00

I worked in theatre and education tv for a few years; and con confirm David W is not a nice character. Neither is Justin fletcher, but not for the same reasons.
Mr Maker is lovely though, as is Don of Dick and Dom fame.
Sarah Millican can seem a bit grumpy
but she’s absolutely lovely and we used to think she was anxious about being her very best.

Hugh Jackman would be one I’d be shocked by.

Bloatstoat · 30/05/2023 22:54

Keanu Reeves
Monty Don
Justin Fletcher - my DD absolutely loves Mr Tumble although I do find him a bit creepy I would hate to think there was actually something wrong about him.

Has someone on mn not slept with Justin Fletcher? I'm sure I read this years ago

I'd be more shocked if she was nice tbh

@hotelmotelpremierinn please don't put that image in my mind I like to think of him as genderless like a Ken doll.
