Sunbathing topless in your garden… would you?

Just wondering really?… Not in a pervy way!

We live in a detached bungalow, so although we have immediate neighbours, they don’t overlook us as the fence is too high. Unless one side stood on their top step and I was at the other end of the garden… Then they might see me! But I’m actually not bothered if they do. It’s my garden.

No, but if you want you're fine to do so.

I would never sunbathe full stop!

Soubriquet · 28/05/2023 19:17

In your case yes I would

Wouldnt be able to in mine. Both neighbours and the neighbour behind me would be able to see just by looking out of an upstairs window

LlynTegid · 28/05/2023 19:18

Your choice, remember suncream! I don't have a garden so not the option.

ImthatBoleyngirl · 28/05/2023 19:20

Not anymore! The last time I did, I answered a work call on teams from a male colleague with the video option instead of the standard call option. Never been so embarrassed in my whole life!! 🙈

MoonlightLily · 28/05/2023 19:23

No but I wouldn't anywhere

AppleKatie · 28/05/2023 19:25

No because I’d be seen 😂

I could in the holiday place I’m currently staying in. Don’t really see the appeal though, it’s not that warm it’s still May! 😂

RicherThanYews · 28/05/2023 19:25

In your particular circumstances I would but in general, no way in hell. I burn in midwinter fgs.

BriarHare · 28/05/2023 19:26

I wouldn’t sunbathe anywhere as I don’t want to look like a raisin with skin cancer anytime soon.

But if you’re not overlooked and it’s your thing, go for it.

TrifleForBreakfast · 28/05/2023 19:27

Frequently have hang gliders and Niro lights flying over, so no.

ThreeRingCircus · 28/05/2023 19:28

Totally go for it if you want to and you're not overlooked!

Runnerduck34 · 28/05/2023 19:29

In a private back garden with no overlooking neighbours its fine, just have a top or cover up to hand in case you need to answer the door.
I wouldnt do so now, my teenagers would be horrified and my body is no longer what it was but I would have done it in my twenties.

ODFODeary · 28/05/2023 19:29

Yes , I do all the time

gogohmm · 28/05/2023 19:31

I have, nothing on. My garden my business

BCBird · 28/05/2023 19:32

Yes to suncream. I worked with simeone who burnt her boobs on holiday. Said it was agony

ShakeYourFeathers · 28/05/2023 19:32

I have ! not particularly overlooked mind . And it's been when I'm out in the garden and I don't want strap lines because of a dress I'm wearing to a special event . Go for it

continentallentil · 28/05/2023 19:33

Absolutely.

Also work / type topless (laptop cable slung through window). Now there’s a vision for you.

You just won the Internet for today 👏 🤣🤣

ChokeToDeathOnThreePoundsOfMeat · 28/05/2023 19:39

No, but only because I would never (have never) sunbathe.

As far as the neighbours go... it's your garden.

SirenSays · 28/05/2023 19:40

I always sunbathe nude when I have privacy

itsgettingweird · 28/05/2023 19:41

Absolutely if I didn't live with a shared garden Grin

But then we went on holiday to France yearly and I lived abroad in Spain many many years in my 20's and sunbathing topless was the norm.

Never thought of that!… We have a sky dive centre nearby 🙈

Only if the garden is very, very private.

Gwdihooooo · 28/05/2023 19:51

I do wear Factor 30-50 so I don’t burn. I work outdoors soo have a very prominent t-shirt tan and I don’t like wearing sleeveless tops, but want to try and get the tan a bit more even.

I know it’s only May but it’s 24 degrees here atm… perfect temp for sitting outside doing nothing!
