Good morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just having breakfast in my favourite spot in the kitchen. I'm not usually a breakfast person but woke up starving today! I have the window open so I can feel the breeze, and the washer's going already. There are a few pots to wash up, but someone else can sort those later on.

I'm planning another lazy day today, barring the washing. I'm going to make some Rainbow Fish display props to send into work, and do my nails. I've got some seeds to try planting too - might be a bit late but it'll keep me busy tending to them over summer. I might even get out my crochet now my attention span's improved.

I'm also waiting to see if the table part of my new garden furniture arrives. The rest was delivered yesterday but the table is still "out for delivery" for some reason 🙄

The girls' dad is going to carry on sorting out the back garden so I can use it over the summer. He did loads yesterday & it looks much better for it. There's a small bin of huge boxes to burn tonight too, when there's no washing to be seen in neighbouring gardens.

I'm not sure what the girls will do 🤷‍♀️ I don't expect to see them for a good while yet 🤣💤

I've got a gammon in the sc for tea, we'll decide what to have with it when everyone's up 😋

Lazy day for me after a couple of very busy days!

About to shower and have breakfast, then will get a few loads of washing done today, play in garden with DD and watch Monaco GP this afternoon

We are undecided. I had a whim to take us all to London Zoo but it's over £100 for all of us (including me going as carer for disabled DC3!!). Also I'd been determined to keep things cheap and cheerful this half term. So maybe we'll just go to Regents Park instead and maybe we'll even walk some of the way along the canal.

Or else we'll do something completely different. I both love and hate not having a clear plan 🙃

Good morning! Beautiful day here! I've to wait in for my hoover to be delivered but as yet I don't know the time slot so perfect excuse to do nothing. I'm really bad for saying I will have a lazy day then I always find something to do or somewhere to go.

Ds 11 is away out with his gran after lunch and dh will be back around teatime. Got a very easy m&s curry box for tea

Morning all! We’ve had coffee and the DCs are getting dressed - on our way out to a football match for the oldest, last match of the season. Then home for some garden time - might mow the lawn or maybe just lie in the hammock 😁 Just so beautiful in the sunshine. Then later I am sorting a picnic and all the seaside stuff as we have a day on the beach tomorrow, planning to get there early to avoid the crowds.

Good morning Lucysmam and others. It's a beautiful day here on central Scotland and I'm on my second cup of coffee. I will have to do a food shop later then I shall wash the chairs that are in my summer house as they have gone a bit mouldy. I intend to sit out under a parasol and enjoy the peace. Chicken and ham salad for dinner. Have a good day

Morning! We've walked the dog, been to the shop and now we're having breakfast. It's lovely here so we're going to the allotment. We've got a paddling pool there as we don't have a garden at home. I fancy making an egg custard for later.

Currently in the MRI unit for my youngest to have a scan on his knee,

Later this afternoon, will be sat in the garden with my OH, drinking wine and beer.

I had a wonderful day out yesterday so I'm looking forward to a wonderful day at home today. Might start reading the next novel in line.

Morning everyone! Beautiful day here, we're still in bed at the moment having a coffee. I'm having some beautiful peacock blue streaks in my hair later, then we're going for a meal at our favourite Italian restaurant in town.

Morning, @lucysmam! So lovely to see you back in your kitchen spot, and glad to hear you’re not feeling too rough.

We’re all just lazing around at the moment. I’m drinking my first (and only) coffee of the day — aaahhh.

Beautiful day here, so we’ll probably be in the garden most of the time. We might go to our local country park, which has good SEN facilities and DD loves it because she usually gets an ice cream at the end.

Need to get a few bits for lunch tomorrow, when my dad’s coming over. We may fire up the barbecue for the first time in a couple of years - it’ll need a good scrub and a new gas bottle.

I've got a wash on, love hanging it out on a sunny day!

Going to walk the dog in the woods while it's still cool enough, then hang about in the garden with a book til we go and meet friends in the pub beer garden late this afternoon.

Hopefully we will get a nice take away on the way home!

Im sat with a coffee which I brewed in my moka pot which always makes me feel fancy. I’m going to the gym after it and then the shop to get some burgers for the bbq as it looks like it’s going to be another hot one.

I just seem to be catching up with the fact you've not been well? Sorry to hear that.

I have a day off today after a busy few weeks so I am going to have a pottering day where I get my house in order. Start the week with a clean house so I can think straight.

A bit like crunchymum (waves to you my friend) - I kind of look forward to a day with no plans then find Im not quite sure what to do with myself so I have made a rough list of jobs I'd like to get on with. Tick them off as I go about but also resting in between. There's no rush which is nice actually.

Younest has a birthday party to be ferried to and I have to pop into my work but apart from that I am easy.

Got 2 of my DGCs with me. Off to get their mum soon. Visit to DDs grandparents grave with flowers, then a walk and garden centre. Bbq at neighbours this evening. Been v busy weekend so far so hoping for some r&r tomorrow

Morning all. Lovely to hear about relaxing days. So hot in Berkshire I had to come in from the garden halfway through breakfast.

Dp lives close to a brand new train station (trains started running yesterday), so later we're going to take the train to the next stop and go for a walk there.

Planning to make fish tacos and watch a movie this evening.

Waiting for my shopping to be delivered, it's DH's birthday tomorrow so we are having a family BBQ this afternoon, ha ha, that will upset the neighbours (twats). Poor Dcat confined to barracks for a few more days so will be shut in the bathroom, he had his ears amputated 3 weeks ago and despite having the stitches removed yesterday he is still scratching them so has to wear a collar. Hope the sun comes out but not forecast, at least it's not raining.

I am about to get up and do my usual tea and pills, then I am going to do some washing, hoover a bit and apply woodworm killer to the floor of my small landing. Although I think they are old holes, I am playing safe.

I'm slowly getting the van ready for the camp next month, so this afternoon I will be searching the house for the tabletop I've lost. It's one of those old Indian brass tables with a folding stand, which I use when camping. I've got the base but have probably slid the top behind something in the shed or somewhere.
Pizza and salad tonight.

We are in a beautiful cottage in the Lake District. DH is gearing up to go and do a long walk. I can't walk far due to a hip issue so I am staying here to read, sleep and potter around. I will meet him in the town for a drink when he is back. It is idyllic here and the weather is beautiful.

Oh @lucysmam I'd brought a gammon but didn't fancy cooking it on a sunny day. Never thought about the slow cooker!

Recovering from competing in a County Show yesterday. Feet are like balloons so I pretty much plan to reside on the sofa while DD + DH feed + water me! 3am start - 6pm finish yesterday so I'm 😴
