I hope he will lie low. Unfortunately I suspect he’s going to write a book about how he’s the victim here and wholly misunderstood whah whah whah and possibly get a job on something like a radio station or talk show where he’ll be colleagues with disgraced politicians and the like.

Apparently he knew that his brother had abused a minor. Told him 'not to do it again'.

A couple of people who have worked with him on This Morning have recently commented on how unpleasant he has always been. There has even been a suggestion that his coming out was some sort of deflection, so who knows what’s been going on? It’ll be interesting to see who will speak out in his defence and how many will go for the jugular. Be nice to people on your way up because you'll meet them on your way down.

I assume a resignation today is because an unfavourable story is / was about to be published in a Sunday paper tomorrow?

Yep. Very self serving false sweet girl act. She gives me the ick as much as he does.
As for PS? I think his funny, chummy best pal persona has been well and truly obliterated by his seedy reputation as a groomer of young men, hiding his sexuality like it was a dirty secret and then telling his sex offender brother to just 'not do it again' until he was convicted and then PS disowned him. The stories of his horrible he has been over the years to other staff are all coming out.
That family must have some serious skeletons in the attic for both sons to have turned out a bit sick in the head.

Wish they'd bring in a couple of brand new presenters who have been through university and worked hard for it etc, someone we've never heard of and deserves a chance. Not someone fast tracked who's won some shitty reality show.

There was a whole thread something like This Morning Is A Weird Place a while ago, it is suggested he has been inappropriate on set and had to get a super injunction over an issue with a junior staff member....

And he was well known at bars and clubs for being dreadful, one to avoid. You'd get pushed up against the wall and -assaulted.

Hopefully he will be kept away from children. I don't think there is any coming back from this, the tide has definitely turned. I'm sure he's fine for money so I imagine he would retire and probably spend part of the year abroad.
