Crikey, Bunglie, you're going through cages like there's no tomorrow. You're ging to have to stop chewing the bars like that. Grin

me either-and never will at this rate

wobblystarryknicks · 14/12/2004 19:54

Who was trying to suggest I should clean out Bunglie?? I'm in sole charge of the admin side of things ta very much so i've got enough to do - secur - GET BACK TO WORK!!!

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 21:08

Well, I can't do it, I've just had to take dd to the emergency clinic, she's having hallucinations now ... I can't look after her and Bunglie.

OP posts:
wobblystarryknicks · 14/12/2004 21:13

not asking you too wwb - you do enough round here - its secur that needs to get her arse in gear!!!

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 21:16

Well, yes, that's true ... cleans the cage out once and thinks that's all she needs to do all month ...

OP posts:
wobblystarryknicks · 14/12/2004 21:25

Yep - tsk!!!!!

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 21:27

You just can't get the staff, can you. And I think Bunglie's sulking, she hasn't been out of her cage all day - what do you think secur did in there that's upset her? You don't suppose she nicked all the voddy, do you?

OP posts:
wobblystarryknicks · 14/12/2004 21:30

Hmmm, she's in serious trouble if she did. maybe she left a PS photo album in there and its keeping Bunglie busy.

saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 21:33

oh yee of little faith, I will take my punishment-I was just asking who would have the bunglie iver the xmas hols. And I am afraid it fell to you WK, no getting out of it I am afraid, everyone else got thier excuses in first.

Still I will finish my punishment after the holidaYS.

I topped the water bottle up (with voddy) and everything-I even released a whole box of new mice....Ahh now I understand why we havn;t seen her

How's dd wwb?

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 21:33

Or perhaps she got a bit carried away with the tranquilliser gun ... I know I told her she could use it if Bunglie got too over-excited, but I thought she'd be sensible with it ...

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 21:35

Secur, we ended up having to take her to the emergency GP, she was having hallucinations. Going out in the cold has reduced her temperature though, and she's not seeing snakes and beetles anymore (I think I am, though ...), and she's asleep again now.

It just gets worse.

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 21:43

Oh wwb, I am sorry, there is nothing like a small child to worry hell out of you is there?!

What did the GP say? presumibly just to do with her temp?

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 21:47

Yes, I thought it was just her temp and had started to bring it down with tepid water, but dh rang the emergency GP who insisted that we take her in to get her checked out. Poor little sod was hysterical, backing away from imgainary snakes and trying to brush beetles from her skin.

Although the mermaid that was in her cup of water sounded very attractive ...

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 21:59

poor little thing, sounds like things have calmed down now? Hows DH doing after his early start?

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 22:34

Oh, he's OK - it's not far from his usual time anyway (he just doesn't normally have so little sleep in betwen!).

He's flaked out in the armchair at the mo, I might have to go and carry him up the stairs to bed in a bit

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 22:38

lol poor household, what a night!

anyway, what you doing up still, get thee to bed this instant-you need rest, you have tomorrow to get through yet!

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 22:42

Tell me about it!

We didn't get any tea until gone 10pm though, so it's got to settle down first (that's my excuse for not dragging myself away from the PC and I'm sticking to it).

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 15/12/2004 09:09

any improvment today?

WigWamBam · 15/12/2004 09:59

More hallucinations, more vomiting ... it's been a long night

Her temperature's down now but she can't even keep water down. She's gone back to bed for a bit so I'll see how she is when she wakes up.

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 15/12/2004 18:56

sorry, i have been locked out all day-how is she? Sounds pretty bad to be halucinating after 2 days

WigWamBam · 15/12/2004 19:29

Actually, she's picked up a bit tonight, she's spent most of the day curled up on my lap or asleep, still not keeping much down but the temperature is normal and she's suddenly a lot brighter.

Fingers crossed ...

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 15/12/2004 21:05

Oh well that's good anyway, what did doc say? Do you think she is keeping enough fluid down?

wobblystarryknicks · 15/12/2004 21:08

Sounds like a good sign wwb, hope she keeps getting better

WigWamBam · 15/12/2004 21:47

Doc says winter vomiting virus or similar, has had some fluid today and has kept a piece of toast down this evening ... I think we're over the worst (maybe that's wishful thinking ...

OP posts:
BunglieOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 16/12/2004 07:25

Sorry your dd is poorly WWB...I think she needs lots of clear fluids...like a Bunglie...
I hope she is better today.
