Crikey, Bunglie, you're going through cages like there's no tomorrow. You're ging to have to stop chewing the bars like that. Grin

No cravings is brilliant - although the rest of it doesn't sound so hot!

hmm, no not really! Still, it will all be worth it in the end.....

I hope

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 16:43

YES! Yes, it will be. Do you know how long it's supposed to take for all the toxins to come out?

Just been looking at the NHS Stop Smoking website, they reckon within 3 - 4 weeks the symptoms will stop.

Not long to go then - hang on in there!

no idea I am a bit afraid tio investigate in case it is ages!

I think it is worse for me than some people as I am not using any "products" so all the toxins activate in one go, if you use patches etc they are supposed to keep our toxins topped up so they exit more slowly.

Euughh, what an awful conversation, sorry. I will take my toxins elsewhere!

saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 16:46

Oh Thank you, that's brill!

Oh am all perked up again now!

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 16:47

No, it's OK!

Might be better to talk about something else to take your mind of it though ...

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 16:48

Perked up is good ...!

How are you feeling after all dds escapades?

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 16:53

Drained ... she fell asleep in my arms earlier on so the RSI has kicked back in again (I'm typing one handed, which is a pain), she's put herself back to bed for a bit now, so I'm having a bit of time to myself. Perhaps I should go and join her!

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 16:56

I would if I was you-there is nothing worse than missed sleep combined with worry to take it out of you!

How is dh with this kind of thing? (mine is useless-panics and makes everything worse! poor man!)

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 17:04

He's pretty good, actually - he stripped the bed while I stripped and bathed dd, then helped clean the stuff off the walls, carpets, etc while she lay on our bed. He even put some of the sicky sheets in the machine this morning. He wasn't too good while she was throwing up into the bucket but I guess you can't have everything.

I've just gone upstairs to lie down myself for a bit and she's sprawled all over our bed. And her bed's too big for me ...

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 17:05

Too BIG???

You don't even need me to correct that, do you

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 17:09

! Well you could take the view that she will be so tired that she won't wake if you move her?

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 17:11

Wouldn't bank on it ... never mind, hey!

Although I really should be getting on with the housework now she's not hanging from my neck all the time ...

Nah.

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 17:17

Oh no, you need to relax, you have been through the mil too you know

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 17:20

Yes, although at least I didn't have to get up at 5.45 this morning like dh ...

... although he will have had several coffee breaks and a lunch hour, so perhaps I should stop feeling sorry for him now .

OP posts:
saintlysecur · 14/12/2004 17:34

and it requires far less effort to be at work than it dies to care for a sick child-which would you rather do? (assuming you could leave your sick child that is!)

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 17:36

I couldn't leave her - but he definitely got the better end of the deal!

I can't put my stuff on e-bay, it won't let me on to register for a selling account-I am totally confused!

WigWamBam · 14/12/2004 17:41

Can't help you there, never sold anything on ebay.
