I like Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson and The Tiger that Came to Tea by Judith Kerr.

What is your favourite. I'm also looking for some slightly quirky ones or less well known ones.

The iconic wordless picture book, Window by Jeannie Baker, is perfect for use (twinkl.co.uk) Love this book. We've had it for over 20 years and its still fresh .

Not now Bernard by David McKee.Perfection!
Tuesday and Flotsam by David Weinberg are no words and absolutely beautiful illustrations.
Tell me a Dragon by Jackie Morris. Gorgeous!
The Little Miss and Little Master board books are great too. Little Miss Austen Sense and Sensiblilty, Little Master Stoker Dracula and Little Master Melville Moby Dick are our favs.
Mine are too old now, but we all enjoy a flick through the old favs every now and again.
