@HamptonCaught was it you moaning about the gospel choir swaying as well?

Manicwithmoney · 06/05/2023 12:20

My 11 year old said Camilla looks sneaky.... he's not wrong 🤣

flutterbyebaby · 06/05/2023 12:20

I honestly think Camilla suits this roll far better than Diana ever could.

ladyvimes · 06/05/2023 12:20

Camilla has been quite smiley throughout. I like it. It is a happy occasion and she is just showing her humanity.

DysonSpheres · 06/05/2023 12:20

Tears of jubilation

Penny M should be PM based on this alone. She is magnificent.

I'm not a fan of her extreme views.

And she has 'military background' in the same way that the Princess Royal does - largely honorary.

Giggorata · 06/05/2023 12:20

As someone who had to sit through interminable church services as a child, I can recommend staring at the lights until you get a good after image, then follow it round the church…

TokyoSushi · 06/05/2023 12:20

Oh I've just noticed Charles' shoes! 🤣

TheaBrandt · 06/05/2023 12:20

I think Penny would make a better queen

Sudeko · 06/05/2023 12:20

Way to go kids, ruin a young girl's marriage through your adultery and eventually bag the title and ultimately the crown 😶

HamptonCaught · 06/05/2023 12:19

Imagine if Charles had loved Diana, she would still be alive and they’d both be getting crowned. I think that would be a lot more meaningful.

I don’t think Camilla should be queen (queen consort, fine), as she was just his side piece. Maybe ok if they met after Diana died, but since they were having an affair I think it’s a bit unseemly and undermines the whole thing.

I don't understand the whole "what if". They divorced, she (sadly) died far too young. Camilla is his wife and has been for many years.

Aye, ‘twas.

WeWereInParis · 06/05/2023 12:21

What do you mean? She's being treated the same as any other queen consort. This is the role of queen consort.

cannotfindanickname · 06/05/2023 12:21

That crown on her head has greatly improved Camilla's posture.

SoupDragon · 06/05/2023 12:21

Blessing of the Royal Coffee Flask there.

Soulstirring · 06/05/2023 12:21

Simply amazing ceremony. Both Charles and Camilla look emotional

MargotDeWitt · 06/05/2023 12:21

Did anyone else think that the section where Camilla was crowned was quite rushed?

Nah, still #teamFloella

You're bringing back memories 😂😂😂

LadyWhineglass · 06/05/2023 12:21

They’re having a sherry aren’t they?

RealLife101 · 06/05/2023 12:16

She looks like she’s been at the Valium. Absent smile.

I was just thinking that but with every sympathy! I would absolutely have to pop one to get through this.

My bil has cleaned them

Louis isn't there anymore.

Agree. She’s far superior to Diana IMO.

EvelynKatie · 06/05/2023 12:22

Louis has gone now, bless him.
