Prefect cup of tea

Ok boring I know but how do you make a perfect cup of tea? Do you for example use loose or tea bags , straight from kettle or a teapot?
I put a tea bag in with my milk and then add the hot water and let it sit for a few seconds as I do not like it too strong. Ohh also has to be typhoo not flavoured stuff for me.

M&S earl grey tea bags (used to be twinings until they changed the recipe and ruined it).

Water on bag, steep bag for about 3-4 minutes DO NOT TOUCH IT or it will be stewed.

Add small amount of milk... Between number 5.5 - 6 on the guinea pig chart.

Perfect. Full flavour, but not bitter or too much tannin. 😁

Just adding, to my original message, if I ever have to make a cup of tea in a mug or cup. I always add the milk last!

When I ask for very little milk as I hate milky tea, it’s usually too much! So now I would rather have black tea or do it myself!

Twinnings earl grey tea bag into my favourite mug, add boiling water, swirl with a spoon three times, mash lightly against the cup. Add absolutely nothing else and drink when slightly cooled.

Warm the cup with a bit of hot water from the kettle add tea bag (Yorkshire) then sugar (currently between half and one). Then add water, leave for up to 5 minutes to brew then bag out and milk in, between he-man and terracotta colour for me.

Oh 6/7 for me.

Anyone who is 1 you might as well just have a glass of milk. Don't you dare say you're having a cup of tea. The audacity.

I agree with 5.5-6 on the guinea pig chart.
