Didn't get the emergency alert at 3pm!

Well that's us buggered in an emergency. Anyone else in the same boat and didn't get it delivered to their phone?

There is another thread going and it seems that people on Three didn’t get it.

My personal phone is on Three and I got it loud and clear. My work phone (switched on) is EE and not at all.
Both Android, running on separate Google accounts.

I did. DH didn't. One adult DC did, the other didn't. Both their partners did. 2 neighbours I asked didn't. One other did. According to Twitter, there's a mix of people who did get it, and people who didn't.

DH is irrationally pissed off and annoyed that he didn't get it, and I did. 😆

I've been playing with my phone.
Test alerts was off, it was a bugger to find.
Easiest way: go to settings, search #emergencyalerts
Long route on a Honor; sounds - more sound settings - mobile broadcasts - alerts
Think 3 may have fecked up on updates

Turned it on today in settings just to hear it .
Came through 3pm fine, I'm with virgin mobile with Samsung phone

My son and OH both got it 1 min early. Both with EE. I didn't get it and I'm with Three

We’re on Tesco O2 and we got it in the pub as did our friends who are on Vodafone.

Mine came through at 16.20, iPhone 13, Vodafone. In a room of 8 people, only one of my colleagues came through at 14.59 (no idea what phone or network).

Nope, neither husband’s phone or mine had the alert. One of us on iD and one on smarty networks, both of which piggyback on Three.

I turned my phone off completely, but all those who didn't get it are very lucky - I don't know anyone who thinks it's a good idea, and frankly nobody would want to be bothered with it for real. Total nonsense.

4g phone. Samsung. Got a silent notification at 4.15 - thought it was a data alert as it was just a little exclamation mark on notification bar (exactly like I get when I hit my data warning) 🙄

As an aside do you have different surnames. I read in Japan it’s sent alphabetically.

This may help some...

None of those apply to me, my device should be compatible according to that and I still didn’t receive it (Vodafone). Had good 4G signal and DH on the same network was with me and got it.
