What's your favourite eye colour?

I really like Indian mens eyes, I love the shape and the colour is exquisite .... what about you?

Blue especially a deep blue like my daughters. They’re gorgeous. Mine are a rubbish light blue.

now I’m obviously biased but like brown and blue

i have light brown and my DH has blue

But my 2 daughters are mixed Asian and white - one has the darkest brown which you can get lost in as they’re so beautiful

The other has true blue eyes and tanned skin given her heritage which is really unique and mesmerising

it also means I must have a blue recessive gene and so suddenly my heritage isn’t as clear cut anymore

I love brown eyes. My son has the biggest, most beautiful brown eyes. I used to get stopped all the time when he was a baby for people to admire his eyes.

Mine are 2 slightly different colours..green but one with blue flecks and one with brown flecks (my mum has brown eyes & my dads are blue). Mine do look strangely yellow sometimes though, like cats eyes. Odd.

YOU have never had dog shit put through your door, or NOT been interviewed for a job, or told you have low IQ because of your beautiful green eyes. You are secure in the beauty of your colouring, and of your place in society, as judged by your colouring, and your gorgeous eyes.

One of my oldest childhood friends, on the other hand, with her beautiful big brown eyes, and as the child of Asian parents with dark eyes and brown skin, has received all of the above at some point.

Her brother committed suicide at 22 since he couldn’t stand the racism, the people who couldn’t bear him, wanted him to go fucking home (even though England was the only home he had). I’m still so angry for what he had to BEAR. His sister sank into such depression, she’s still not out of it, even though she tries.

You must realise that most people from Asia and Africa and the Middle East have brown eyes, so by saying you can’t bear their eye colour, you are also saying, at least at some level, you can’t “bear” the looks (or windows of the soul) of a great swathe of people, not simply maligning the looks of Europeans with brown eyes (from dame Deborah james to Julia Roberts).

Life is sweeter when you tell us what you do like. Also, think about whether what you say has any merit. There are ugly and beautiful eyes of every shade. It’s wonderful and healthy that you love your green eyes, focus on telling us about that. You may not have meant to trigger a conversation about racism by your apparently innocent comment. But it is a massively thoughtless comment, since people with brown eyes have died for their colouring. I’m not even sure if this post will even have an impact on you. I’m writing it in honour of my friend, who died because people couldn’t “bear” the way he looked.

Bloody hell, keep it light. She only meant she doesn’t find brown eyes attractive, she wasn’t suggesting a cull of all brown eyed people.

Depends some gorgeous dark brown sultry eyes that beat boring cold blue anytime especially on Asian, Arab, Mediterranean people ,it's the shape right. Green is nice too. Blue but depends which type of blue most have boring cold blue eyes.

I honestly have no preference or attraction to any particular eye colour. So long as I'm not getting the stink eye, they're all the same to me.

Blue eyes are my favourite but I think that's because most of my family have blue eyes apart from my sister who has gorgeous green/amber eyes.
My husband and eldest daughter are both blue eyed with red hair (my husband looks very similar to Joshua Homme) and our younger children are like me with dark blue eyes and blonde hair

Not at all. I think they're deeply unattractive and always have. I don't care in the least what YOUR favourite eye colour is, so it seems very odd that you apparently care so much about mine 🤔
