I'm wearing a rara skirt and colour changing t shirt. Hope my armpits don't get too warm!

Carrot top jeans with kitten heel court shoes and a jacket with shoulder pads that make me look like an American footballer on steroids.

gettingoldtoquick · 11/04/2023 02:38

Oh I longed for a naff naff jumpsuit. When I was about 14.

ZZTopGuitarSolo · 11/04/2023 02:42

Tight purple satin trousers.

Light yellow pedal pushers, strappy vest and clogs.

Sunnysidegold · 11/04/2023 06:51

I'll be in a satin nightie from the charity shop hoping I look like Courtney love. Sadly my m&s sensible bra straps will be visible and I'll have my woolly school tights on underneath. My mum will not let me out dressed like that.

Allschoolsareartschools · 11/04/2023 07:02

I'll be in a Benneton sweatshirt with Joe Bloggs jeans or a Dash tracksuit!

CatNamedEaster · 11/04/2023 07:08

Boob tube, Pineapple leggings and Kickers please....and a perm. Stunning.

PussBilledDuckyPlait · 11/04/2023 07:10

A white sarong skirt, moccasins and a Frankie Says t-shirt.

FASDE1517 · 11/04/2023 07:25

A full Kappa poppers tracksuit with Reebok Classics.

ThisIsTrifficult · 11/04/2023 07:31

Anything with knee high boots. I am ample of calf and have never found a pair to fit.

Remember the top of the pops performance from Alex party, don't give me your life?
I wanted to look like that!

HardStareBear · 11/04/2023 07:53

Acid wash Pepe jeans, a "Choose Life" t-shirt, and a pair of jade green ruched pixie boots.

gogohmm · 11/04/2023 07:56

@ThisIsTrifficult

Simply be have boots for all - sent the first two pairs back for being too wide!

My outfit would definitely be doc martens on my feet (still own multiple pairs and wear to parties) and Levi 501's not sure about the top, a wham one maybe

Kensukesfifedom · 11/04/2023 07:57

Also a Rara skirt! And Pixie boots. And the party will be a roller disco.

fuzzbearpenguin · 11/04/2023 07:58

I clearly misinterpreted the question as my first thought was to go as Mr Frosty the slushy maker and dress up as a snowman! 😆😆 I was desperate for one as a kid!

Boot calf extenders.

ladygindiva · 11/04/2023 08:22

Lace leggings , lace gloves, an enormous perm, pixie boots, and 500 million bangles and necklaces.... Basically Madonna or Cyndi lauper circa 1985.

NoTeaNoShade · 11/04/2023 08:32

Crop top (never ever had a flat stomach and always wanted one to show it off) coupled with combats, and the straightest of straight hair. I'm looking at All Saints for my inspo.

TheChippendenSpook · 11/04/2023 09:25

A pink and blue shell suit.

LoobyDop · 11/04/2023 09:32

Cobalt blue leather suit. The skirt is short and tight, and the jacket has enormous shoulders and is embellished with little silver studs. Teamed with matching stilettos. As seen on Fallon in Dynasty.

LunaMay · 11/04/2023 09:33

A black leather catsuit like Suzi Quatro wore on TOTP. Luckily I'd gone off the idea before I could probably afford one.

megletthesecond · 11/04/2023 09:40

It depends who old.
Primary school - rara skirt from tammy girl.
Secondary - jeans, kickers and Naff Naff from Mash on Oxford St.

recklessgran · 11/04/2023 09:42

DM'S, 2 tone tonic suit with silk pocket square, Ben Sherman shirt, VERY short cropped hair and the ultimate party accessories - Bob Marley and the Wailers L.P and a Party 7. Oh those were the days! Ha! Ha! Who'd of thought I'd transform into a sensible, traditional Mum of 5 and Granny to 5 [so far]?
Thanks fot this thread and the memories it's evoked!

zapeze · 11/04/2023 09:44

A boned silk corset from monsoon paired with some low-slung bootcut jeans and pointy toed knee high boots with a stiletto heel. I might thrown on a long cardi with a novelty fur trim if it's cold. My hair will be ironed flat, I'll have double lined my eyes in black kohl and used a whole bottle of Chanel Mademoiselle. I might chuck on a chunky beaded necklace or the ubiquitous necklace made from strings of buttons that my Gap Yah friends all wore.
Noughties princess 👸

Laiste · 11/04/2023 09:47

A two tone vintage men's suit jacket.

I had a basic grey vintage one from Kensington market, (worn over Cure/Cult/Sisters of Mercy T shirt, black mini skirt and torn fishnets), but always wanted one of the lovely slightly two tone ones. They were a bit too pricey.

So i'd come in the above outfit Smile
