Yes, two nights in the Lake District, Easter Sunday at home, then London for four nights.

Yes, Mallorca for 10 nights on Sat. Booked a good deal through TUI. We are very excited. Can’t wait to get out of this rainy weather

No. DD got upcoming exams and we’re skint. Managed 2 night camping trip last year in Lakes - 4 of us (inc. 2 tall teens) squished in a cheap 4-man tent. Thought we might be able to afford a week away in July but I can’t find anything cheap/available.

Oh hell yeah! Time for some sun, can't wait to get away. I'd say about half of our family friends are going away away this Easter.

Dh and I are in Berlin for a few days as a very (1 year) delayed 10th anniversary trip. We leave tomorrow night and it's been great. Ready to get home to the kids now though.

We are going away for Easter weekend in the UK, spa hotel, I don't tend to call UK breaks holidays though!

It's a weekend away with 13C weather to somewhere we've been before, it's a (much looked forward to) break not a holiday, take the piss all you want!

oh ffs does it matter about the half term easter holidays thing! op is simply asking if people are going away for the break. We are not this year. Usually always have a few days away over the Easter break but not this year as dp couldn't get the time off work. why are you asking op?

It's bloody annoying when people call the end of terms half term.

No, we never go during Easter. Of all the families I know, even the ones who usually go away every school holidays aren't away this time.

5 days in the Lakes - I love it here, and we’ve booked cheap self catering accommodation so we could afford it. Not the most luxurious hols but so glad my 2 teens still enjoy hiking up the mountains with a pack up.

Sounds really nice.

We (Me, DM and DD) are off to Wales in August but I did have a serious look at the Lake District. Maybe next Year.

I think everyone must be holidaying in my town

The fucking traffic is horrendous. It should be quiet this end of term break but the roads are rammed (most definitely not a holiday town)
