Barbie Movie- who is with me and looking forward to this?

I am so looking forward to this film and all the merch that is bound to be out today. I was a massive Barbie fan so I am looking forward to it! Should you want to be a Barbie then you can take a photo and be one using a link on the official Insta account.

Can’t wait - laughed out loud at the trailer last night when she takes her heels off and her feet are still in the same position … I used to adore my barbies, remember the names I called them. Had all manner of crap for them, but absolute favourite was a mobile van/RV type thing.

My mum took the whole lot to charity when I was at school age 13, never gotten over it 😂

I'm secretly super excited seeing Barbie is coming out in the summer. My daughter is so hyper about it from I said to her so will arrange for her and her mates for part of her birthday treat to go see the movie though it's us mums that'll enjoy it lol. Hope you enjoy the movie when it comes out!

I was never into Barbies much but this looks funny. Agree the feet coming out of the shoes in the trailer made me giggle. As did Ken's roller blades 😁

Looks fun. Loved barbie growing up and had all sorts of bits and bobs including the rv/camper van mentioned up thread. The poor horses had to do with a cardboard box as their home, while my barbies and Kens all lived together in a ‘commune’ like town house 🤣

I think I'll end up going to see it as DD is keen...I'm not looking forward to it, but I really lie Margot Robbie, so reckon I might be pleasantly surprised

I saw the trailer for the film. I thought some bits of it had a good deal of sexual content to it in the snips they released. I’m sure it will go over most kids heads and I will be bringing my daughters to see it but it’s disappointing they had to stoop so low

I was never really into Barbie (I had one lonely Sindy) but I am so excited for this film! Given that it'a a Greta Gerwig film, it will definitely go in an interesting direction and I imagine the script will be witty. It's got an insane cast, too.

It looks brilliant, can’t wait to see it. Have you seen the posters, all the Barbies are something (president Barbie, celebrated author Barbie) and all the Ken’s are ‘just Ken’ and ‘another Ken’. Amazing.

Saw the trailer for this and also can’t wait. What age rating is it going to be for? I can’t quite work out if it’s aimed at kids or adults.

Also massively excited to see it. Loved Barbies and Sindies as a kid, and then my DD also loved them. Really hope it's good!

I think it'll be PG as there was a trailer for it before Super Mario Bros film. They never include trailers for films above the showing.

I was thinking this evening how much I'm looking forward to this film. Think it should be pretty funny.

I too only had a Sindy growing up (they must have been cheaper lol) and none of the accessories but I was happy making things from cardboard boxes...a lost art!

I'm looking forward to this, I'm assuming it's a PG but will be filled with innuendo and targeted more at me than little girls, that's my hope anyway Grin I'm not sure if my husband and/or sons will go with me though ha!

Anyone gutted it's a 12a ? Took 5 year old to see little mermaid and it was advertised there so I assumed it would be a PG 😢

Just to say that 5 year old wants to see it cause she seen the trailer. I knew it wasn't aimed at 5 year olds so wouldn't be a U but you get a lot of kids films with jokes that go over the wee ones heads which I thought Barbie would be like .

I really want to see it.

My child is 9 and plays with Barbies.
But I don't know whether to take her or not.
I don't think she's ever watched a 12a before.
I think it's a 12a isn't it.
