Two things about politicians:
- they love secrets, so you always have to ask - what aren't they telling us?
- they are almost always incompetent, so you have to ask - what have they swept under the carpet?
EMERGENCY ALERT: NATO's secretary General have told nato countries to prepare their forces for civil unrest. Disrupted supply chains is causing high prices in energy and scarcity in food (which will lead to much higher prices).
There are already food crisis & riots in many countries. And this list will grow over the next 2-3 years. It is worth googling it.
ASTEROIDS: I don't think there is anything new asteroid-wise. Asteroids mostly burn up in the atmosphere, but there are plenty that land with spectacular effect - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/RoDeDqU61fs
NUCLEAR WAR: Regarding the war in Ukraine, I draw the parallel with the Cuban missile crisis. In 1962 JFK threatened the Soviets with a nuclear war if they deployed nukes in Cuba. The soviets backed down. Nuclear war averted. Phew!
Biden & Harris were talking up Ukraine joining nato as late as 22 February 2022. Google it. They clearly didn't think Putin would kick-off. Recent events have clearly shown otherwise. There are two aspects to this:
- The deployment of American nukes in Ukraine. As I said, I see the parallel with the Cuban missile crisis. Google it. Indeed, many may remember the Greenham common protests in the UK.
- America wants a missile defence complex... Really?? As I said, never underestimate the incompetence of western leaders.
SPY BALOONS: This does not pass the sniff test. First, why wait until the balloons were over the east coast before shooting them down? Second, technically, the Chinese should have asked permission - why didn't they? Third, what would spy balloons learn that Chinese satellites could not? It makes little sense.
BANK CRISIS: In the wider context, my main concern is the banks. Western leaders are telling us that bank failures are isolated events. When I am seeing is there are systemic problems in western banks. Many will recall the Greek banking crisis in 2015, when people could only withdraw £40 a day, or so. Or the 2013 Cyprus banking crisis when people with uninsured money lost a big chunk of their cash. And I would not rely on the insurance anyway.
I don't know for certain what will happen in the coming weeks and months, but if there are further bank failures - I am prepared for the worst.
so, no, you are not crackers...
