My lovely DP just walked in from golf and asked if we can do a pamper night tonight. Face masks, teeth whitening, pedicure and waxing his beard. I think it's really sweet and makes my heart melt. Anyone else's man like this behind closed doors?

Jesus christ, no. I would hate that, completely wouldn't be able to relate to anyone who enjoys that. Massages though are a different kettle of fish.

I'd bloody hate a pamper night, it'd be like a spa day, which I'd also hate. I asked dh if he'd like a pamper night but he looked really nervous and panicked when he thought I was suggesting one.

He likes massage and a facial cos they are very relaxing but it's usually something we do basically as foreplay

Yes I agree . The topic really doesn't deserve some of the responses. Many of the men in our family have a skincare routine and do it the same night as their partners and feel it's no different to them exercising together .

It's a very insular, white-centric outlook (and even then, completely ignoring the fact that barbers have consistently offered far more than just a quick run over with clippers and a packet of condoms for the weekend through history) in my opinion.

But hey, with all these vaginas drying up and dying at the thought of a man enjoying looking after his skin, nails and hair and sharing this level of non sexual, nurturing, intimacy with his partner, there's clearly a whole bunch of clean, well groomed men out there going spare.

My boyfriend likes spa days and going for professional massages but he’d never suggest a pamper night.

I would have thought that was more to do from saving one another from the sight of you wiping your arse, not the horror of a man applying moisturiser leading a lot of posters on this thread to instantly question his sexuality.

aw! my Fiancé loves a good spa night every now and again ☺️ we pop a good film/series on and have a face mask, use the foot spa and use the feet and hand sheet masks. We love it! doesnt happen often but really nice date night 💗

Honestly why be so nasty? I've never whitened my teeth or had a face mask or a pedicure but I can't imagine where anyone gets off being such a massive cunt to someone who enjoys it.

I think it's ridiculous that you can't see there's ground between the two. My dh is very clean and well presented, as am I, pamper night sounds boring. She asked, I have no opinion on her marriage.
