My brother once got given a table at a posh London restaurant because they thought he was a famous actor. He has a lot of self-confidence and an air about him. A waitress asked him whether he was famous during the main course. Luckily they didn't throw him out.

My granny's auntie's second husband's uncle was J M Barrie - actually Mr Second Husband was himself famous at the time, an international chess player.

About 15/16 years ago I was proposed to by a relative of Donald Trump. Trump's mother and my suitor's mother were cousins. I'm not sure if that makes them second cousins?

FiL is very well known in his field. Not household name famous, but globally known in something that was very specialist when he was working, but has grown massively since he retired. I work on the peripheries of the same field, but under my maiden name. Please are always astonished when I mention that he is my FiL. Then ask if DH also works in the field.

Famous for all the wrong reasons. My 1st boyfriend was a serial killer. Yes, I was in a 'relationship' with him when the crime was committed.
