What people can you remember being really popular at one point, and then seemed to drop out of existence?

He was arrested for child abuse, in a very public way, and then cleared of all charges in a very quiet way.

Destroyed his career, but I believe he acts alot on stage now

@yousexythin Gilbert O' Sullivan still touring and seems popular judging by the shows he's done round here.

@BudgeUpAnne Funnily enough Pete was on the Last Leg a couple of weeks ago looking a bit ... larger than he used to. Came across as quite amusing though.

Funnily enough I was thinking about this the other day.

It was Lauryn Hill, I was thinking of.

Lauryn Hill was huge in the 90s, with things like Sister Act 2 and Fugees etc.
She's a fabulous singer/rapper.

I'm sure I read somewhere she went to priding for Tax Evasion and decided to take a step back from fame.

And she was racist which didn’t help her career much.

Her album flopped, she got sued by other writers for song writing credits, went to jail for tax evasion, had 6 kids, turned up late to concerts and pissed off her remaining fans. She self imploded.

BudgeUpAnne - Lynda Lusardi was seriously ill in hospital in intensive care with COVID in 2020. It took her a long time to recover. She is mid 60s now so is maybe taking things easy.

I remember my mum moaning about Linda Lusardi being on Blankety Blank as she was only famous for getting her boobs out.

Bernie Clifton lives down the road from me, as far as I know he's still there. Nice big house in Barlow, Derbyshire. Not a mansion but a big detached house at the side of the main road.

Andrew McCarthy. I was obsessed with the film "Mannequin" when I was young.

He directs tons of tv shows! Keep seeing his name pop up.

Calkista flockhart was in super girl (early seasons and the finale)

And Ewan mcgregor has his own Star Wars show!
