Daisy Bates, John Nettles. The main characters in the Famous Five ( for the old uns). I think the actress who played Anne is living in France. Michele Gallagher ( played George) sadly is no longer with us.

After all his TV stuff, he went on to act in lots of big West End theatre. I think he's nearly 80 now so not doing much maybe.

Thinking about it I think he was in Oliver as Fagin when I saw it many years ago. I wish they'd re-run his shows a lot of good humour from what I remember, he should be replayed as much as some of the other (less funny) old shows.

I may regret that after a rewatch though. I'm off to you tube

I loved Tony Slattery, was so sad what happened to him

Rob Newman is touring, seeing him next month, can’t wait. I remember when it Badiel and Newman, they were like rock starts. Love the Mary Whitehouse experience too

All 3 of mine were movie actors

Danielle Panabaker did Grimm, Sky High, The Flash, Supergirl, and more.

Mary-Elizabeth did 10 Cloverfield Lane, Make it Happen, Final Destination 2, Scott Pilgrim, Birds of Prey and more

Julia Styles obviously did Save The Last Dance, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Omen, and others

I've not seen any of those films so probably the reason I've never heard of any of them.

I don’t know why the thought of shakin Stevens releasing a new record made me laugh so much but it really did. I really shouldn’t be ageist as I am no spring chicken but I was imagining him as Shaky Stevens.
