He's filming in Northwest England at the moment and being pictured out and about quite a bit.

True, he's been seen on Le Mans Crescent in Bolton apparently, I often wonder of people don't get deja vu from seeing those buildings and cobbles so often!

Dacadactyl · 18/03/2023 16:08

Simon Amstell too. I used to love him.

Christmasbird · 18/03/2023 16:09

Matthew Broderick
Michelle Pfeiffer

Matthew Broderick is still acting - saw him in the West End in the past five years and he played a therapist in 'Better Things' - about LA single mum.

Danny Bher

Sh's a high end real estate agent in LA. Saw her on a programme about Hollywood a few months back. Looks fab still.

mondaytosunday · 18/03/2023 16:13

@Tinypetunia you're kidding - she's all over the place promoting her new show Challenge Anneka and was on Radio 4 yesterday!

VivaciousRadish · 18/03/2023 16:13

I’d love to know what happened to Michael French (David Wicks in EastEnders and Nick Jordan in Holby and Casualty). I hope he’s ok

Has anyone said Cheryl Cole yet?

She's performing in her first acting role in the West End - and getting great reviews.

Danni Minogue
Edith Bowman

I wish, Edith Bowman is still on BBC Scotland programmes regularly (making everything about herself as per). Would love for them to use someone else as she really grates.

Kim Wilde
Amanda De Cadenet
Alison Moyet

Amanda de Cadanet had an online channel called 'The Conversation' where she'd interview people (women maybe??). She's just launched a podcast with the same name.

Cattenberg · 18/03/2023 16:26

Carol Vorderman was everywhere at one point.
Phill Jupitus
Winona Ryder

On the other hand, someone told me yesterday that Shakin’ Stevens is releasing a new single.

fyn · 18/03/2023 16:29

@KillingMeDeftly James Buckley is the biggest earning cameo celebrity outside the US, he’s made well over £1million from it. He also has a reasonably successful YouTube channel.

CockSpadget · 18/03/2023 16:30

Cat deeley

For many years, Tony Slattery, because of health issues.

There was an incredibly moving documentary on Slattery a while ago. He has had some kind of stroke, I believe, plus mental health problems. His partner has stood by him, however, and seems such a quiet, loving, loyal man that it brought tears to my eyes. Half way through, Slattery revealed that he’d been raped as a child. Even his partner didn’t know. God, it was a gut-wrenching piece of television.

Jayne Middlemiss has a regular radio programme but cant remember what station

Virgin I think. She's ace

SequinsandStilettos · 18/03/2023 16:40

Acting is precarious. Ex soap stars in particular.
You need a plan B or regular voiceover work or panto gig and radio.
Same as singers and bands after their five minutes.
I wondered where Nigel Harman had gone the last five years. He's done some theatre and is now in Casualty. I like him so I might start watching Casualty again!

Allergictoironing · 18/03/2023 16:41

An awful lot of the people mentioned here are in their 60s/70s. Maybe some have retired to enjoy their earnings? I know if I had a pile of money I'd retire rather than still work with the lack of privacy you get as a celebrity.

Plus some celebs get over-exposed, then everybody gets bored with them so they don't get used any more.

MavisCruet2023 · 18/03/2023 16:45

Julia Ormond. She was big for a few years in the early 90s but no idea what she is doing now.

JamSandle · 18/03/2023 16:46

Kate Nash

viques · 18/03/2023 16:49

Poor Richard O’ Sullivan is another one, he has been living in a retirement home for old actors for nearly twenty years after a stroke. He is 78. Very sad, he was an early crush.

Annika Rice

Everywhere at the moment, Challenge Anneka is back on tonight and I can't wait!

Soubriquet · 18/03/2023 16:55

Yes to Jessica Alba! (I’m on page 2)

On the same line, you don’t hear anything out of Alison Hannigan or Charisma Carpenter
