Would your 17 year old do this?

I'm trying to gauge how stupid this is. He was at home and there was some bedding hanging in the garden. He noticed it was raining so he brought it in and...... dropped it on the floor and left it there. Now I appreciate the fact he brought it in, but am I being unreasonable to be a bit annoyed that he just dumped it on the floor? Am I expecting too much??

I would've done that. I once brought it in and hung it on someone's leather sofa and assumed I'd done them a favour.
