Trees and fields.

Nannyfannybanny · 25/02/2023 12:25

The South Downs.

mastertomsmum · 25/02/2023 12:25

Until a week ago I would have said a slice of the garden that includes our garden bench that I can see from the dining room. However, our neighbour - who is a sculptor - has a wonderful bronzed copper sign for his workshop that I can see from our front window

GobbieMaggie · 25/02/2023 12:27

Richmond Park.

PhantomErik · 25/02/2023 12:31

My flowering camellia & beyond that a couple of engine houses with the sea in the distance.

BarrelOfOtters · 25/02/2023 12:32

We’re in a town but have surprisingly good night sky due to where the street lamps are. On a dark night waiting for the dog to do her nighttime pee, after checking her buried bones and woofing at cats….it’s lovely.

For the last 20 years green space/field where everyone in estate could walk dogs, then farmers fields with cows, then it goes off to the old drained reservoir, also great to walk the dogs around.

Now since last year, a road, house construction and no access to the reservoir 😔. We need to drive somewhere to give the dog a decent walk and never see the fellow local dog walkers we used to chat to daily.

Mountains out of the bathroom window at the side of the house.

The sea from the front of my house

Fields and hills with sheep on them from the back of my house.

It's the best place tonlhve.

There is a raised embankment behind my bedroom. A wild rabbit hopped up to my bedroom window yesterday all relaxed. I was in bed. We looked at each other for a while. 😍

whinetime89 · 25/02/2023 12:40

Kangaroos in my back garden eating the grass (obviously not in the UK)

MelchiorsMistress · 25/02/2023 12:40

Daffodils that are just about to explode with colour.

BillyAndTheSillies · 25/02/2023 12:41

Similar to a PP from my loft room I see the whole London sky line from Canary Wharf to The Shard. Always makes me smile. Occasionally the shard puts on light shows and me, DH and the DC bundle upstairs to watch them.

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 25/02/2023 12:42

We live in a wonderful little new-build where our back garden could be termed rather ‘boxy’ and sparse. However, what did attract me to this particular plot still delights me. I have beautifully kept allotments at the bottom of my garden. I ‘borrow’ their trees and assorted greenery for my view. What brings me more joy is an almost completed (rain-willing) beautifully painted fence which has taken me weeks. I’ve been meaning to do it for the last two years though. So what I see from my window is accomplishment and that view is priceless!! Garden is a work in progress but getting there.I love my view and spend hours staring out at it!

NoDairyNoProblem · 25/02/2023 12:44

You can see the sea/coastal path from all the upstairs windows (we are almost perpendicular to the coast but a few streets back).

Downstairs we have love crocuses popping through and a beautiful cherry blossom tree desperate to spring into action soon.

Izzabellasasperella · 25/02/2023 12:46

The sea.

The fields full of lambs and the Welsh hills.

Justonedayatatime11 · 25/02/2023 12:48

The Norfolk Broads

BigFloppa · 25/02/2023 12:48

Nothing, out the front I can see a petrol station and out the back I can see a factory. My car is probably the nicest thing I can see! Haha

Bunnyishotandcross · 25/02/2023 12:48

The sea..

scrambledeggsandbeans · 25/02/2023 12:49

A pool and lots of palm trees

Bluevelvetsofa · 25/02/2023 12:49

Pots of bulbs. The croci are out and beautiful and the others are green shoots and leaves.

MichaelAndEagle · 25/02/2023 12:52

Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain …

I can actually see my downstairs neighbours very pretty back yard. But the above from Fawltey Towers did spring to mind.

wendywoopywoo222 · 25/02/2023 12:57

I have a lovely view out into a long garden backing onto a small wood from the back.

From the front it's a run down council estate, we are very lucky with our position on the estate.

Same here, our city back garden has amazing night sky views

@mac1974 I've just wasted an hour on Facebook now looking at the view from people's windows🤣
