Twin peaks - what the fuck

I'm 30 so this is before my time, but giving it a go.

I'm enjoying the story. But so much of it is SO weird!!! Is that because it hasn't aged well, or was it always weird?

• some of the acting is atrocious. Like I don't get how it was made
• the weird random dreams that add nothing
• the drug runner they capture has a Caribbean accent?!
• the constant random screaming from Laura's mother -and the visions she has of a long haired man
• it has a population of 50000 yet everyone knows each other and there's only one bar, and one diner

There were more I'll remember. And I'm still watching so no spoilers please, but was it always this weird?!

I liked 3 episodes & then lost interest. Never understood why it was a cult classic.

Music is cool, but not a lot of it.

We got a lot of new music likes from the most recent series. I put the Chromatics on in the car quite a lot.

It gets weirder 😁

I love twin peaks! I had the book as a teenager, was shit scared of Bob and really fancied agent cooper.
