If you smoke

Then how do you afford it

No judgement at all. I'm inspired to ask by another thread where someone said it costs £12 a pack. I had no idea. I thought maybe £7/8 a pack.

I'm guessing so many are vaping now due to cost.

wtfisgoingonhere21 I have quite an old mod, an Ijoy Genie & a Freemax Fireluke tank, it's old school, not one of those tiny ones you see now, I vape Ladyhaze purple juice, it's blackcurrant & menthol, plus I vape CBD for my Fibromyalgia. I had to change my juice when Freemax stopped making non mesh coils as the one I used to vape burnt my coils out as it was a very sweet juice. I can get around a month out of a coil as I only vape around 54 Watts & the cotton doesn't burn out very fast

I have an IQOS. It’s good in one way, the closest substitute to cigarettes I’ve found. I use it in the loo on long haul flights! (I was reliably informed that smokers among the cabin crew do the same). Unfortunately I didn’t find it to be financially viable for every day use. The IQOS cigarettes are half the size of a normal one so it’s like smoking half a cigarette. So at £5 per pack, it’s not actually any cheaper than smoking! You could buy a real pack and just smoke half a cigarette each time.

I do wonder whether people who buy cigarettes (and scratch cards) are the same people who are complaining they they have mould because they can't afford to heat their homes.

I hope the poster who is buying cigs for their daughter is on a wind up. What a sad state of affairs!

I don’t buy scratch cards. The 2 do not go hand in hand! But my house is lovely and warm and mould free, thank you very much!

I might try IQOS as they do menthol flavours, which you cannot get with normal cigarettes anymore. I must admit that I do miss the menthol cigarettes as I normally used to smoke these.

I've used IQOS for a couple of years and this isn't the case. They're half the size because they don't burn down. IQOS say you should get 14 puffs from each one so maybe you need a stronger flavour as you might be taking really long puffs?
