New Depeche Mode song

I know there's a few fans on here so what does everyone think of Ghosts Again? I love it - it's made me even more excited for the Twickenham gig in June.

I love this song. Watch the video, it's another Anton Corbijn collaboration, and just so moving. You can't help thinking of Andy Fletcher. The Seventeenth Seal chess match, the graveyard... Martin Gore looks so... old; Dave, the most stylish elder statesman of pop now that Bowie is no longer with us. It's a beautiful song. A true Memento Mori.

I adore it and the album is one of the best things they have done since Ultra in my opinion.

I'm still not loving My Cosmos is Mine but I'm really enjoying the album. I've only listened to it a few times but my favourite tracks at the moment are Wagging Tongue, My Favourite Stranger (very DM), Soul With Me (just love Martin's voice) and Ghosts Again. I'm sure the others will grow on me after a few more listens.

Can't believe I missed this thread - only found it when OP posted the link on the thread about Fletch.

Love Ghosts again - it's a massive ear worm for me at the moment. Can't stop humming it. The new album is the most easy to get into since Ultra for me.

I've got my Twickenham tickets and hotel booked! Can't wait.

They're on the R2 Piano Room in about 10 mins.
Playing Ghosts Again, Walking In My Shoes and a Gordon Lightfoot cover - all with the BBC orchestra, should be excellent.

Just watched the Radio 2 thing. Sublime. However, introducing them by saying how many Grammy awards or nominations they've had. FFS. They're DEPECHE MODE.

I'm fairly certain no one in the UK gives a fish's tit about the Grammys, so why use that to demonstrate the merit of one the greatest bands this country has ever produced?

Thanks for the iPlayer tip off, was good to watch. Interesting to see all the instruments with DM as used to just keyboards! Martin’s beautiful supporting vocals really showed up and Dave gave us a couple of twirls.

I’d recommend also listening on BBC Sounds (1130 Thurs 6th) as there is also an interview with Dave. He’s not lost his Basildon roots 😂
